To my ears, the AFD100 sounds far sweeter, and the YJM a tad shriller. Why don't they get Malmsteen himself to demo it, for a change?

BOTH SOUND AMAZING!! But a half stack is soooo overkill for bedroom shredding. I would love for Line 6 to model these in all their glory.

I like the YJM much, MUCH better. regardless of who's signature amp they are to me the YJM is fatter,richer,more dynamic and sweeter. that afd has a "broken" amp tone, like the tubes aren't all the way in or about to die, thin. Slahs's tone to me has always been thin which is the part of it i'm not into. Now, the quality of it OTHER than the thinness i like. It's agressive which is nice and it's got that 800 ish tone i like but, the girth isn't there.
