Nice kata , I think this is the way the W.K.F DO THIS KATA NOW i have trained with a gentle man in kufukan shito ryu (He has trained for over 35 years) and it's a little different .Still very good.

I wonder, would you rather see sooth and correct or fast powerful and sloppy...dont know this kata but looks like every hand and foot movement had a spot it was suppose to be in and it look like they were it the right spots..ive seen so many kata done so fast and so caught up in power that they forget the technque

well this gojushio-sho is good for shito ryu but since i take shotokan i really enjoy the longer and more dynamic stances and hip movements, but well kata all together

you must not forget that here the guy is doing the kata for people to learn it and so he isn't doing it with much kime. if he did it in competition style or at least with a good rhythm it would look much better. i am however biased since i do shito-ryu =D

Hmm... my school (Shito-Ryu) has much deeper stances in kata execution. Usually we tease the Shotokan guys, not the other way around! Although this is an accurate portrayal of the kata, often it is performed with more intensity in competition or in testing.
