@aztelegraph Where in the constitution does it give the government the power to run checkpoints inside the US? It says that the government will not interfere with interstate travel. They are stopping and arresting people that are US citizens for no reason. The government has the power to protect the borders, which they have refused to do. See Border Patrol Catch and Release Program, tell me they are really looking for illegals. Also checking for drugs is illegal in its self so dont believe that.

Why didn't you just comply! All of this mess could have been avoided. I think you made an easy inconvenience a long costly legal battle. These federal agents have a difficult job of differentiating between a good citizen and a law breaker. They put their lives on the line to protect our borders. I know it's 50 miles inward, but it's a secondary defense. I'm sorry you got physically hurt but you pushed your luck there.

@wontgoslo You missed the point, you are handing over your rights to people that are your adversaries, not your advocates. They are not charged with protecting your rights, only you can do that! This was not at the border, it was a suspension less stop. A cops main job is to protect the government from us. If hes doing such a great job then why is he not patrolling the border? If you really loved this country then you would be pissed at your constitutional rights being totally disregarded.

I can relate to your troubles with the border patrol. I have went through many checkpoints in southern arizona. In Aug. 2010, I was on my way back from a wedding. Twice that night I had passed the border patrol on the main roads. In both cases the border patrol turned on thier super bright spot lights and hit me with them while I was driving. Unable to see, I had almost wrecked my car. I think they should be investigated. But who to turn to about this?? I am from PA.

Even if excessive force was used in this case, I believe you have only yourself to blame for the outcome. I've seen your other videos and you basically go around and harrass law enforcement officers until you force them to do something drastic. To go looking for trouble, and that's why you get it.

The 4th amendment protects against unreasonable searches and siezures. Mr Pastor was the one being unreasonable by entering a border patrol checkpoint unforced, then refusing to answer one simple question. "Are you a US citizen". A simple yes or no question. Nothing I mean NOTHING intrusive about that question.. he just wanted to make himself a martyr and a "youtube celebrity" by creating a big scene for no good reason.

I live in southern Arizona and pass through these checkpoints rather frequently. They do not ask me for identification of any kind and yes, everytime I have gone through a checkpoint the questions do indeed end with just that. It does not bother me one bit. What bothers me is going to a hospital ER and having to wait for 4 hours with 3/4 of the poeple in front of me in line being illegals. THAT'S what bothers ME!
