  • the translation of my words:

    "I feel this way

Irfan it is often translated in English as gnosis. Those with the name are sometimes referred to as having an insight into the unseen...

    then love is mentioned

"Die and Live just to find out the real Love"

    it's the concept of "irfan"

and a feeling of freedom and power of being able to change every limit ...

....and I see my soul that way.

thanks for uploading this fabulous song.

  • man erfan ya hamoon "sufism" ro ba in ahang hess mikonam,

    I love axiom of choice

  • " Before us, days and nights have gone by

    The wheel turning, destinies molding

The dust lying beneath your steps

Was once the pupil in a beloved's eye "

(... the lyrics in the CD booklet say... Such a beautiful song...

Please if anyone could write the original Persian words for me, I'd be grateful..

Merci Axiom of Choice for creating so touching music...)

  • lyrics:

پیش از من و تو لیل و نهاری بوده ست

گردنده فلک نیز بکاری بوده سـت

هرجا که قدم نهی تو بر روی زمین

آن مردمک چشم نگآری بوده ست

phish as man o to leil o nahore boodah st

  • very beautiful video to accompany a very beautiful song - i'm so grateful that you've created this - thanks

  • This CD was a gift from my SWEETHEART ! .

  • This is my absolute favorite AoC tune. Here's a little insider info:

Ramin was my best friend during our Junior year of high school in 1981. He was just learning to play the guitar. We played a lot of hacky sack after school and hung out in the granny unit he lived in next door to his host family. His primary musical influence at the time, and the album we listened to almost every day? Pink Floyd's, The Wall. You can hear that influence in some of his songs.

  • Thanks for the interesting insider infos.

  • My pleasure.

  • thank you for that tidbit of info....very interesting....

  • Thanks for the insider info! -- it makes perfect sense that he'd be into Pink Floyd -- their music has a certain "spaciousness" (I don't know how else to describe it) that Axiom also shares.

Do you think he's also a Shakti fan? Axiom songs sometimes remind me of Shakti as well. John McLaughlin modified a Western guitar to play Eastern tones, so there's that similarity too.

  • I dunno what Ramin thinks about Shakti. He's in another band now called Niyaz, which features a different singer and has Indian influences. Very different in some ways from Axiom, but similar in other ways. They tour a lot, and you'll find their music here on YouTube.

  • Ah, yes -- Niyaz. The singer is Azam Ali, who is originally from Iran but who spent many years in India, so she blends the two sounds and languages when she sings.

You're right: "very different, but similar." thanks for responding!

  • Hey there, does anyone know where i can download this album !?!?

  • soul touching !!!!!!

  • wow.love this...thanks for sharing..

  • çok etkilendim.. bu güzel müzik için teşekkürler

  • A masterpiece from the stunning Album "Unfolding" (2002). With the voice of Mamak Khadem. Listen & Enjoy it.
