I don't care what anyone say's about Mary. I love and relate to her. I'm one of a few Catholic's on my mother's side of the family. I have a father who is a jerk and a mother he cheated on while she was preganet with me. God bless Queen Mary.

Well said. I couldn't have said it better myself, because I have always felt a little more pull towards Mary than I have towards her sister Elizabeth. Elizabeth was a good queen and ruler, but she made mistakes like everyone else. Mary was no different; yet history has chosen to dub her 'Bloody' rather than her father or sister, both of whom had more executions in their reigns than she did.

She was given the title Bloody Mary because she burned so many Protestants to the stake so fast (300 round about) all on the charges of heresy. I've always been an Elizabeth admirer but I do also like Mary. She was given an unfair hand in life I think.

I feel for Mary greatly. This song was a good choice. I also agree it is unfair that she was giving the tile Bloody. Her sister killed more then she and Henry put together and she is remembered as good queen Bess.

I agree. I really think that Henry deserves it the most though. Even if he killed less than Elizabeth did, he was much more of a tyrant.

That is a difficult subject I guess. Her father killed hundreds more people, yet she is the one called "Bloody".

I think Henry deservess the moniker more than Mary. Mary gets more flack b/c she was a woman. If she'd been a man, no one would have cared!
