  • @DrPepperFlayvaSilly Hey man thanks for checking the vids out! And - great to hear you've got over your injury too! good luck for the future matey! ;)

  • Great sound - voice and bass same volume! Thanks a lot.

  • Help me out please!!! Why are you including (C) in Dm, would that not be and Dm7.

  • @2hiphotos Yeah I'm treating the Dm as a Dm7... sorry, should have said that ;) cheers for pointing it out. S.

  • Brilliant tutorial, thank you, started to lose me at 9mins, :(

  • scott, your tutorials are greatly appreciated, and opened up alot of closed doors for me,thank so much .

  • just out of interest did you go to salford university?

  • dudevjst get a standard 4 string board so that you don't loose half of the people watching, confusing!

  • im sorry man i thought it was to keep the fretboard clean.

  • the gloves making me mad. Im sure you have your reasons

  • @gornlockheart Medical condition unfortunately :(

  • @devinebass Oh medical condition, I see. I was wondering. Well, I hope God delivers you from what ever condition it is :) keep you in my prayers mate.

  • @devinebass I think that you just don't want anybody to see what you are doing. Ridiculous!

  • Excellent lessons, Scott, really getting into your style of teaching. One question: Did you have any advice or an exercise where you link all the three arpeggio shapes (for the one chord) over the fretboard? I, myself am one of these who have learnt a shape in one position and now find it hard to visualize them in different positions over the neck in a fluid style.

  • you`ve got an extra C instead of a low B?

  • @MysteryBassMan96 Yup. It's becoming quite a common tuning these days.

  • @devinebass y doint you use a six strings? is your bass mainly for solo bass playing?

  • @devinebass Why is that you do that? What are the pros and cons of having a C versus having a low B? is it simply because you like that higher pitch for doing licks and what not?

  • @MysteryBassMan96 E,A,D,G,C

  • why does no one show what they're doing with the right hand when they show these arpeggio lessons?

  • @mystique1721 Hey man thanks for checking out the lesson. I've recently done some tutorials covering right hand technique so maybe check them out instead. Thanks again. S

  • @devinebass Thanks for the fast reply, I have just check out some of your Right Hand technique videos, but none of them seem to talk about what to do when the left hand is playing arpeggios. I would really like to know what your right hand is doing for this particular arpeggio lesson you have given here. Any tips?

  • @mystique1721 Yeah man... it's pretty simple... when ascending I always play with alternate fingers ( index, middle, index, middle etc etc), then when descending I rake. I've done a video on this. You can find it on my website under the technique section. easy man.

  • @devinebass Yeah, I checked that one out. Great video for learning the raking technique. I think what's frustrating me right now is that not very many bass teachers give out lessons on incorporating the 3rd finger into their playing. I actually went to your web site earlier and wrote you an email about this...anyway, thanks so much for taking the time to reply to me on here at least. I just want to start using more of my 3rd finger rather than only alternate plucking with my index and middle.

  • @mystique1721 Hey check out Alain Caron... he's great and uses 3 fingers. S

  • hi scott, thanks for your lessons. I have a simple request - please also bring your right hand into the camera. It helps. Cheers. Showneath.

  • Love ur vids man, but is there a reason for not starting an arpeggio with ur ring finger?

  • Your black glove makes it hard to see.

  • would u also recommend if we use a bass arpeggio book that has them all for easy reference?

  • fantastic Scott cheers

  • Great!

  • I have learnt a lot in the last 10 minutes and 38 seconds. Cheers.

  • Great lesson...The best I've seen...I hope you show us how to apply it....I don't have a clue

  • @HomeBuyersofOhio I'll get on it for ya! ;)

  • @devinebass Thanks Scott...I am sure I am not the only one who do not no how to use them. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. You're the man
