So I guess you're not a true artist unless you're a homeless bum babbling to yourself, but that's okay because insane people are supposed to be artistic geniuses right? There's this thing in life called a "niche", if you find something you're good at and you enjoy doing it you should find some way to make a living from it. Sure it's nice if your art affects people but sometimes not starving is a good motivator to create more.

Music is something we enjoy in our leisure, leisure is not freetime but nonwork time. That is we are given leisure so we are more productive at work. When we consume in our leisure and buy things with our "hard-earned" dollars, lke music-we are buying our freedom or buying things that represent our freedom-not real freedom.
