  • lol pretty funny vid

  • your not funny. i know ur trying to be funny but seriously this is just a sad attempt.

  • lol orchid go fuck your dog xD if someone wants to have a wombat that person can do whatever he/she wants. it's not like wombats are an intelligent species or something...

btw wombats can defend themselves, they don't need you. i certainly wouldn't like to have a mad wombat in my room

  • Animals in general tends to be intelligent, and the mammals more. So it is intelligent.

  • Wombats are actually one of the smartest marsupials, durrrrr.

  • why did they say "dont be a bitch!"

  • Because she was tring to bite her ankles for attention. Take note of the thick rubber boots, wombats bites HURT.

  • WTF this is freakin retarted

    dumb ass

  • I saw one of these once when I went to a carnival they said it was a giant new york sewer rat.. THEY LIED!! :( This video makes me sad

  • best comment yet. my sentiments exactly.

  • this is digger the wombat and donna!!!!!!!!!!

  • yes!

  • its fucking just a huge hamster.

    emo frog.

  • What is the problem with being an huge hamster? You (and me, and all humans) are an oversized monkey mutated with alien dna.

  • oh my gooooood! she's no bitch! she's the most wonderful animal in the world! fight for the wombats!!!! freedom for wombats! :)

  • That adoptive mother/human was so mean. I've seen the original video and that wombat definately did not look happy the way she treated her.

  • The reason she was treating her like that was because they are trying to get her ready for a soft release and it is really hard to get them ready for release when they are constantly sooking. Trust me, it would have been just as sad for the carer and it is for the wombat.

  • It didn't appear that way. What is sooking? Aren't they supposed to be aggressive in the wild?

  • Sooking is like, wanting to have loves and cuddles with her carer, but when you're getting them ready for release they really need to be independent.

They can be extremely aggressive in the wild, but only if they feel threatened.

    ]

  • Are they endangered? Must they always learn to be independant if they choose to be with humans?

  • They're not endangered, yet. But they are getting very close.

They don't choose to be with humans, they are generally orphaned by accidents or sometimes people shoot their mothers, in which case wildlife carers become their foster mum for quite a while.

But they are wild animals and they deserve to live in the wild, and thats where the release part comes in.

You can't release a wombat, or any animal for that matter, that has become so dependant on you that it thinks its human.

  • Yeah; I sort of consider the wombat as having chosen to live with humans if it is dependant on humans. If they are endangered though or close becoming so, then I agree they should be trained for living independantly. I don't understand why anyone would shoot a wombat though. Trophy? Brr.

  • They shoot them because they are bloody bogans.

  • haha noooo that was not bad

  • Can anyone tell me what is the title of this sad song ? :D

  • omg poor baby!

  • She wasn't harassing the wombat. It's ad edit of another YT clip. The wombat tried to chase off her keeper when she gave her new water, for some reason.

  • WHY WERE SO MEAN TO HER?!

  • I love Australia this little wombat is so cute.

  • thats a cool whatever it was but how is it a comment

  • ohhh... so sad. lol
