In all honesty, Portuguese sounds like Spanish with food in your mouth. Any Spanish speaker can understand 60/75% of it because most of it is composed of actual Spanish words mixed with mispronounced Spanish words. To Spanish speakers it sounds like foolish crap, Italian is a nicer Latin language. If Portugal had not separated, Portuguese would be no more than another pointless regional language of Spain like Basque, Catalan, and Galician.
"hug this" "The wine are in agreement because one is journalist" "In the end the flu" "Is, is. With us, with us with us" "Is Easter, Joe flashes, the post cock and Ana and I, actress." "And... the given momilmo!" "Here we get up early." <-- That's what they are saying in the Portuguese subtitles.
listen to me people what they teach you in school is a lie!!! the british did not burn down the white house!!! there was no war of 1812!!! it was a wild billium I tell ya!!! you gotta believe me!
Im brazilian from Rio de janeiro, the portuguese in Rio sounds like russian the same way as european portuguese, because of the way we say the "s" or at the end of the words wich sounds like "sh" at the end of "wish" in english for example. The vid is great it s really sounding like portuguese. Vamos madrugar aqui! just perfect. hahahhahahahah
There´s a pretty signifficant difference in the accent of the portuguese spoken in Portugal and the one in Brazil. And for those who are more familiar with the 'brasilian' one, somethimes the way the people from Portugal speaks sounds like russian for our ears. As you can see in this video, where the guy could even fill the real words used by Putin in russian with real similar sounding portuguese words in letters (as if they were simulating portuguese with Portugal´s accent) at the same time.
This is quite a bit late, but better late than never, right? "Abraça esta" means "hug this (girl)". Most of the video are disconnected words that make no sense, but do sound like portuguese words. Than, the final phrase by that angry journalist, "Vamos madrugar aqui", means "We are going to spent the all night in here"
Because their "s" are pronounced "sh".
