I'm holding the cartridge for this game right now. I'm surprised I can still remember all of this music, as I never really played this game much when I was a kid (I sucked at it). My cartridge is in perfect condition, and if I can find a working SNES I'll make sure to play this game through again. I'm having a serious nostalgia moment right now, listening to all of these songs, it's crazy D:
Nah...I'm happy with what I have besides if I downloaded them they would be in Japaness and I watch anime to watch not to read (The subtitles of course). ^-^
I know how you feel! I remember that I used to own the cartridge, but lost it in a move. Finding out about emulators and knowing I'd be able to play this game again was one of the happiest moments in my life! *cries*
I still have the old SNES although I no longer have a unit to play it on. The only Ys games I've played are Wanderers from Ys and Ark of Napishtam. Still I love this game it was fun.
Nope sadly I've never played them but I have heard of them. Now Ys Book 1 & 2 and Ys II, I have an anime DVD called Ys Legacy that has these two jems in it. I just find anymore that's sold in America that's in english (sigh).
This... is prolly the best map theme... ever. Or at least one of them.

The music was one of the best parts of the game!
I've kinda got the opposite problem you've got, My SNES is fine, but I lost my cartridge for the game!
heh, the game itself is fairly easy for the first half so long as you level up beforehand.

Yeah, they're all good games. I also thought Ys 4 was good. Have you played any others beside those two?
