@MissXMarlboro Thanks for the complement! Yep, the leave do decay over time, but before they turn into complete mush I throw them out and replace them.
@UndergroundGeckos Hey thanks UndergroundGeckos! The tank actually looks much better now then it did when I took this video. I have added several new riparium plants, some wild type livebearers, a background and an amazon sword, so things are really shaping up. I hope to have another video of the tank up soon, so be sure to check back!
@ryanfiller They are oak leaves. I pick them up from my yard, clean them off and put them into the tank. After a day or two, they become water logged and sink. Some people boil them, and use the boiled water as a black water extract. I may try that sooner then later as well.
The leaves look SO awesome. But aren't they going to decay eventually?

What kind of leaves are those? Do they sink naturally or do you need to boil them or something first?
