Can you get it any colder than 11degc? Not really fridge temperature. I'll be interested to see how much of the time the Peltier element needs to be run to keep a constant cool temperature in a well insulated fridge. A commercial fridge of 100L runs at an average of about 20-25W, at 4degc, so assuming the same power as in the video, that's your element running 25% of the time.
@gricka31 you can get 6-7 degree if you use larger cooler inside the fridge.and better insulate the box at the "door" The efficiency of a peltier cooler is very poor comparing to compressor method but, for a small water cooler is ok and much cheaper.
Sorry, but I could not understand the measure of the fist device shown. What temperature have you reached inside the box, and what is the volume of it? I could only identify the scheme of voltage and amper.
Home Depot, foam insulation - use that crack foam filler to use for glueing foam board together. The cheapest foam filler will glue almost anything together, don't get it on your fingers. Or use the spray glue; 3M-77 will work but the higher #?? is more for a perminate use.
Hey man, how did you build the actual box? I am in the process of building one of these - I have already gotten two heatsinks, 3 fans and a peltier chip. I just need to know how to build the box... Thanks for the help.

Cool experiment (no pun intended).

Why do you have a fan just glued to the foam? It doesn't look like it's going to move any air?
