@2:14 That is a PaK36 (late) field rigged on a Pionier variant of the 251 [05 or 07]. It is not flame thrower. Flamm were on PzII Ds; later PzIIIs; and 251 16s. The IID and 251/16 having two spitz on either side of the vehicle.
everyone forgets the germans had the flamethrower also, they think the marines used them exclusively in the pacific but the german Flammenwerfer was actually a better flamethrower
@exiledrabbit The Germans also deployed flamethrowers in WW1. Like WW2 the weapon had very little tactical success (other than burning out the Warsaw Ghetto), whereas the Marines employed and regularly used flamethrowers successfully against Japanese fortified positions.
@exiledrabbit what you just said about the flamethrower was true, the germans did have a better one due to its low maintenence, weight, size and the fact that one guy can just operate without anyone following him checking the gauge
@chuckchuck351 not that I'm aware of, Flammenwerfer makes sense though because werfen is the german word "to throw" so it literally means "thrower of flames"
@chuckchuck351 You may be thinking "flammenwaffen" where waffen means to use force or arms. I'm no german expert merely a high school student but I'm 100% sure it is flammenwerfer
@exiledrabbit that's bacause they had better manufacturars all the best weapons are from german hand made. k98 system is used in springfield, and k98 is better
How hot is the flammenwerfer?
