@keinert Not only is the 8-track tape system ingenious, you, sir, are as well. I would love to hear from the original team that designed this monster.
There's such a wonderful kitschiness to these kinds of games, using miniature objects on wires, spinning filmstrips, optical sensors, and backlighting to create a sense of reality. It really appeals to the kid in me (of course, I was a very young kid when these were common, barely tall enough to play or watch 'em).
Kudos to you for posting your collection, describing the mechanics, and playing them. Wonderful stuff!
Wow. Impressive and clever machine to synch all that using tape-cues. Your digital upgrade is pretty spiffy - amazing how such a big chunk of hardware can be replaced by a tiny board.
Yes, my solid state replacement unit is available for sale on my website (GameRoomRepair). It is expensive, for two reasons: I spent over three months developing this unit, so I would like to re-coop some of that labor time. Also, each unit takes me a full day to build. Thanks for watching my videos, Kevin.

Yeah, Todd's. One of the standout games from his collection.

Nice! - Glad to know it's still working good. If you see Todd, tell him I said hello and that I bought a Quarter Horse Derby. Have a good day, Kevin.

That's an awesome upgrade to the tape deck. Do you have the plans available or willing to build and sell this upgrade to the public?
