I dunno, it sounds normal to me (we have a cd with his songs, and on the cd the song sounds just like the version I used for this video.) I dont think it is live, I dont hear any screaming fans or other background sounds XD

One thing I like about this song; Eagles and Horses, is that it is one of the last few songs that John Denver wrote and sung before he passed away. When I listen to this song, I think about being in either Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado, Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, and/or Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming. For someone who lives in Nebraska, I love visiting the rockies.

I mean, the eagle is shown as a prominent symbol in Spirit.. the "faster and faster" verse makes me think that the scene could've almost been animated for this song.

This is absolutely amazing! The scenes match perfectly with the lyrics. I've been a JD fan for a long, long time, and this is one of my favorite songs. In addition, Spirit is one of my favorite films. I've always thought they belonged together, and here it is. I believe John would've been proud of this!

Dragonlucnch! What a beautiful video!!! Ive never seen this movie, but this is one of my favorite John Denver songs. Gosh, excellent symmetry without being the slightest bit banal. I wonder if the movie's plot was inspired by that song at all? Either way, I'll have to find that video. What an excellent job!! I made a video for The Eagle and the Hawk, id love for you to see. Its a montage however, not an actual video. But not just your everday un synchronised one put a heck of alot of time in it!

This is masterfully done. How you were able to incorporate the Great John Denver's song of "Eagles & Horses" onto this fine movie was fantastic. Everything fits beautifully into the lyrics of this great song. This should of been a part of the movie. If they intend to do a second part to this movie-this video should be a part of it. No, it was a poor design! The fuel select valve was behind his left! Why would anyone put an important control in that position? You're welcome. I might add that there are two Joe Henrys. One's a musician and songwriter, and the other is the one who worked with John. If you can, check out the liner notes on "I Want To Live" (the album). They were written by Joe Henry, and sheer eye candy as far as prose is concerned. It's an amazing work of literature.

Wonderful and incredible video. I hadn't seen this animation. This song was written and recorded in 1991, and how awesome that it's been re-introduced here. The lyrics were written by Joe Henry who is an incredible writer. Check out some album notes of JD, and his expressiveness and imagery is 2nd to none. He also wrote the words to "The Wings That Fly Us Home" from 1976.
