Doesn't look like Damascus steel, and I cannot find the tang type anywhere on the Swords Of Might website. How inexpensive it is pretty much tells me the quality though...
@GumbyGold11 well whye the hell whud he change sword ? he shows what a sword can doo. and ANY sword can do dat IF it is sharp. and it can bee a pain in the ase to get em sharp . and it gets harder depending on the matherial.
Jason is a great guy and excellent to do business with. Sword enthusiasts around the country should be grateful that he runs his website. Excellent well crafted products at great prices. Keep up the good work and don't worry about people fussing over form!
I must say, your form is horrible. It's as if you're just flailing the sword around. Although form may not seem to be important in selling/advertising the sword, I certainly think it would actually raise the demonstrative appeal. I do not mean to offend you though, I'm just voicing my opinion.
Seriously, the people that complain about the form of someone who is selling a product is just an idiot. I mean, I've sold Cervelo and Madone bicycles in the past and I couldn't ride like Lemond or Armstrong! Who cares?!
It's really difficult not to cuss at these people, but it's not my business to do so. Turn the reviews off and keep cutting stuff up; that's the fun part of swordsmanship, and anyone who says otherwise is lying to themselves.
got a question what is damascus sword and what does it come with if i purchase it and wuts the difference between the damascus and the other samurai sword brand you got on your website
Though it is a nice sword, your form is the opposite. Baseball bat swings are not the proper technique. Pulling with the left hand for 3/4 of the cut THEN pushing the last 1/4 with the right hand, that's the proper technique.
You have said several times that your not showing technique, Would it not simply be easier to learn a little better.
On the one side you can truthfully say that the sword will take a beating from an idiots cutting, but on the other you cannot really give any opinion on the balance and style of the blades itself.
Shouldn't a phone sales person be able to show a customer how to reduce the brightness of a phone, or should he just show how to dial a 12 digit number?
don't screw jason, he's one of the most honest merchants around. it doesnt matter if he has bad form, it's not like he is a master, but to all his customers, he's a master salesman lol

You need to work on the way you move the blade, you have to be swift and quick. Try using your hip it works.

I was actually more impressed by the sword due to the poor form. My sword would never cut with swings like that, so that sword is impressive :P

People trust wisdom...

Very true. However and again, we do not teach people how to cut and therefore my technique is superfluous to the swords capabilities.
