So there is no reason to "change" the rating systems of games or movies that 10 would not be perfect. IMO 10 should be a rating to a perfect, flawless game, or movie. Although there is no such thing as a perfect game, we can still try to obtain a score as close to perfect.
There is no cover system because that is not the space marines style, they rely on their armour to protect them, not cover, and if you watch some of the dev videos they say they did it deliberately

Once you remember that its there, you do fine. Unfortunately, by using it too often, if makes you feel a bit less badass. Its like using a nukegun or something, use it more than once or twice a level, and it just loses that special feeling.
They deliberately left out a cover system, because with a cover system it ends up like Gears of War, where the whole game is "take cover and shoot when they poke their head out.".
They wanted you to have to get stuck in, it's why they made the health system the way it is, too, they want you to charge in and get messy.
I played through it on hard on my first playthrough, I didn't find it that hard at all. ls
UltraMarines...Aren't the ultimate warriors....Alot of chapters out beat the UltraMarines...UltraMarines are one of the FIRST chapters of the Emperor....But Black Templars and Grey Knights could possibly fuck UltraMarines shit up....
Chainsword and Power Axe both have two 4 hit combos each, and the X, X, X, X combo with the Power Axe actually does a double slash for the final attack. Also, every combo is viable for different reasons, which is unlike most melee-focused games. In most melee games, you have massive numbers of combos to unlock, but it's always best to stick to a single "best" available combo, or sometimes there's one best combo against strong enemies, and a different best combo against large groups.

This game has one of the best online I have ever played. I don't care what you say but if you are a 40K fan playing as a blood angle in MP, you will jizz your shit. and there is no OP classes, there is a counter for everything, unless you are just complete crap

I like the fact that the designers encouraged you to get into the thick of battle with the way the health system worked. However, I think that for the sequel they should implement some kind of health stations between battles when there are no enemies around. Either that, or have very slowly regenerating health that only regenerates when no enemies are in sight.
As a rule final bosses tend to be better when you spend 10-15 minutes beating the crap out of a boss then finishing the boss with a quick time event rather than the final boss being all beatdown or all quick time
It would have been more in line with the universe of 40k to put the main character in terminator armor and make him a Grey Knight, then I would be able to get behind him as a one-man army, especially against Chaos forces.
warhammer is fun on the medium difficulty but above that i could'nt get any enjoyment out of feeling like paper and not a spacemarine so no 2nd play throughs for me

@epslion the original Halo had regenerating shields, all the games since have had regenerating shields and health (that's why there are no health pack in those games)
@epslion Actually in halo reach in the multiplayer game modes invasion or elite slayer Elites can regenerate their health (though it is rather slow) and in the campaign if your health is at the center bar it will regenerate to about the level next to the center bar ( I beat it at heroic so i have seen this happen to me a lot)
@Mongoloidiful I disagree with your statement that sitting in cover makes you a sissy. The Space Marines have heavy armor, and as you said are walking tanks. In most good cover shooters (and in actual wars, for that matter), you have to stay in cover or else you die, because you're not wearing heavy tank armor like a Space Marine. I don't think that makes you a sissy. I think that's realistic.

I like the fact that the designers encouraged you to get into the thick of battle with the way the health system worked. However, I think that for the sequel they should implement some kind of health stations between battles when there are no enemies around. Either that, or have very slowly regenerating health that only regenerates when no enemies are in sight.

As a rule final bosses tend to be better when you spend 10-15 minutes beating the crap out of a boss then finishing the boss with a quick time event rather than the final boss being all beatdown or all quick time

It would have been more in line with the universe of 40k to put the main character in terminator armor and make him a Grey Knight, then I would be able to get behind him as a one-man army, especially against Chaos forces.

warhammer is fun on the medium difficulty but above that i could'nt get any enjoyment out of feeling like paper and not a spacemarine so no 2nd play throughs for me

NONE of the Halo games have regenerating health, only regenerating shields.

@epslion the original Halo had regenerating shields, all the games since have had regenerating shields and health (that's why there are no health pack in those games)

@epslion Actually in halo reach in the multiplayer game modes invasion or elite slayer Elites can regenerate their health (though it is rather slow) and in the campaign if your health is at the center bar it will regenerate to about the level next to the center bar ( I beat it at heroic so i have seen this happen to me a lot)

@Mongoloidiful I disagree with your statement that sitting in cover makes you a sissy. The Space Marines have heavy armor, and as you said are walking tanks. In most good cover shooters (and in actual wars, for that matter), you have to stay in cover or else you die, because you're not wearing heavy tank armor like a Space Marine. I don't think that makes you a sissy. I think that's realistic.

The stun is a powerful area of effect attack. It can launch any enemies near Captain Titus and can stun an Ork nob or a Chaos marine in just one hit.
The difference is big.

Pretty fun game - definitely warrants a sequel imo.
I'm not really a huge MMO fan and would prefer to see a more "battlefield" type of direction for the series but "Dark Millennium" sounds like it could be awesome if they do it right.

phil the ultamarines are badass soldiers but in the game your killing hundreds of enemies, i dont think you can complain that they die too easily, thats more realistic
