  • The rooting hormone makes roots where it is applied. So that is at the stems. I creates a mass of roots there. So your plants with rooting hormone might have MORE roots but just shorter ones.

    Your other cuttings just have normal long roots. That's all.

    Yeah I would say to make a final conclusion the experiment has to be redone and the jiffy pots taken apart first after 5 days and then maybe 10 days and finally when the plants are about a foot tall.
