Chocolate is toxic. I read this many years ago. I love Ani's cookbook, but I would like this in carob. If you look at Paul Nison's videos etc..and some other Doctors, it will confirm what I say.
Why do I keep reading that "raw" cocoa powder/chocolate is bad for you? I want to make my own chocolate with coconut oil and powder, but now Im getting worried. :/
Hi, I tired a recipie similiar to this and the do unfreeze. I left them on a plate in my cooler, refrige and they melted a little. But I didn't use that maca powder and stuff. Maybe they'll keep them firm after freezing. Peace,
Whole Foods has most of the stuff you would need...if they don't have all of the ingredients then they will probably have similar ingedients which you can use as a substitute.
yes, cacao butter is expensive, which is why the Dutch all other chocolate and use fillers. raw chocolate is 100% real whole food. figure gourmet unhealthy chocolates cost several dollars a piece. in comparison, this raw healthy chocolate is not expensive at all! what's the price we can place on our health?
u can buy it from raw food websites. where i live, i can't find it in shops anywhere. but maybe try your health food shop or whole foods first just incase:-)
well, placing a bowl into another of hot water won't raise the temp of the butter beyond my 104 degree mark. just warming to melt, but different from boiling or nuking it.
That's amazing! So easy!! Can I ask, why doesn't using hot water count as cooking? Also I love the fact that recently you've been posting on your blog more :)

Why don't you answer the question asked of you? WHERE the hell do you get mesquite powder? In China?
Whole Foods does not carry it. Answer the question of where you get this ridiculous ingredient.

@Edelien trust your gut - literally. If chocolate doesn't get you really wired don't worry. I make my own chocolates and love them.

Does the chocolate unfreeze when left outside the freezer? Just wondering if this would be practical to give as gifts.
