i just bought the newer deluxe version of cliffjumper..... way different transformation, and the red plastic looks like a cheapo gundam snap-together plastic. Seems this first edition version is waay better IMO

i got the new cliffjumper and its terrible compared to this one. the legs are hollow, the arms are 2 panels he has a fake chest and he has no blasters. cant wait to get this one though.
Not to mention RiD CJ's smaller than this. And quickly find one fast. FE CJ is getting rarer by the day as Hasbro is no longer producing these figs, as according to TFW2005.
The "second mold" version of this guy that is being released next year looks a lot better and is more show accurate than this version. Im probably going to hold out and pick that one up instead of this one.

@jopaulin I do not recommend using any music unless you read all the rules and regulations. I have read as much as possible on it and know what i'm allowed to do and what i'm not. You can risk your account being shut down

I think it would make sense that there's a lack of a bio since the Transformers in Prime are so well developed, that you can find out exactly how they are yourself. It's almost as if they didn't need one anymore.
Where as stuff like G1 and the Movieverse bots were bland as hell, that they needed a bio so you can put a personality into them.

When I look at it, it seams to me that the designers (for the show and the toy) used more of her vehicle to make her taller, rather than strong or bulky looking, to make it more feminine.

I share your general feel of this toy's design, Paul. He's just not quite "there". Some of the other characters in the line are very close to their show model, but Cliff here seems a bit lacking. I'll get him regardless though, I'm pretty starved for non-movie TFs. xD

It seems to me that it looks most like a First Generation (1967-69) Camaro with the straight-ish front fenders and pointed grill. It makes sense really since it invokes the fact that Bumblebee is based on a Fifth Generation Camaro and that Cliff was always related to Bee in alt-modes.
those cardboard stands are lame. It would be cooler is there was some paper or card that would make a mini diaorama. I love how his guns are built into the arms, like in the show, but you're right about starscream. His posability is makes him the ace of the line, so far

I share your general feel of this toy's design, Paul. He's just not quite "there". Some of the other characters in the line are very close to their show model, but Cliff here seems a bit lacking. I'll get him regardless though, I'm pretty starved for non-movie TFs. xD

It seems to me that it looks most like a First Generation (1967-69) Camaro with the straight-ish front fenders and pointed grill. It makes sense really since it invokes the fact that Bumblebee is based on a Fifth Generation Camaro and that Cliff was always related to Bee in alt-modes.

those cardboard stands are lame. It would be cooler is there was some paper or card that would make a mini diaorama. I love how his guns are built into the arms, like in the show, but you're right about starscream. His posability is makes him the ace of the line, so far

Im glad the horns are the rubbery material. The "thing" on my DOTM Megatron broke to easy, so this gives me hopes that I wont break his hood ornament.
