  • clever

  • someone fill me in on why it was called the "A" line?

  • @AlvintheChoster49 Assuming that they're all assistant captains

  • not the greatest line at the end.

  • @b7i7l7l7y7 I completely disagree that line was perfect.

  • @Borohockey28 I'm talking about the text at the ending. I don't think it was clever or anything, anti-clamactic is how I would describe it.

Not talking about the Elias - Arnott - Sykora line.

  • cool. the real vid says "What if Patrik wasn't so precise?"

  • JASON ARNOTT...

    Is back on NJ (HH)

  • i actually really liked this quote nice work

  • we would've gone back to back...new jersey bastards..hell of a pass by elias tho

  • @txhorns2109 its funny bc nj made it to the finals the next year only to lose to the avalanche

  • you know they made one of these videos with this exact piece of video saying "what if patrik wasn't so precise" saw it on Versus the other day

  • That's a great line to put in at the end...I like that a lot, very nice

  • as much as i hate the devils, this is still a really good video

  • @TheGRStORm

Yeah, you gotta love the crazy comments and interweb wars between fans of different teams. They're just videos, and it's just hockey.

  • good job

  • good job! love it better than that other guy that did the video about the sharks history will be made that 1 was horible nice job though gotta give it to y'a man

  • look im a flyers fan but i gotta give this one to you. that was really really good

  • love the tagline

  • you know what else would work well as the caption? ..."What if the A line didn't bring their A game?" but i like what you did with it

  • what if the a line was just a line, thats so stupid

  • why was it called the A line ?

  • @callofduty48 The A-Line, was patrik elias jason arnott and peter sikora which had combined for 22 goals and 27 assists in 18 playoff games. Its because they were just so dirty on the ice

  • @callofduty48

It really was just called the Arnott line and then as time went on it became known as the A line.

GM Lou thought the team relied too much on them and traded Sykora and Arnott. Then Elias went into pouting mode and hasn't been the same since :)

  • really nice!

  • what if the devils could get out of the first round?

  • Im so glad Sykora come to pittsburgh

  • That was pretty cool moment in hockey history, the pass from Elias to Arnott was awesome

  • I'm sorry history will not be made for the Devils...

  • who was on this A line?

  • @Britex123 Patrik Elias, Jason Arnott, Petr Sykora

  • @RandomHero1218

    wow that's some line

  • @Britex123 you mean THE A line!!

  • What program do you use to do the slow rewind in the vid? I'm trying to make one of these vids and need a starting point. Thanks

  • @SouthP17CD I used Adobe Priemere Pro but you can use pretty much use any video editing software.

  • @SouthP17CD i used sony vegas pro 9 for mine

  • Hey I've always wanted to know why they were called the A line. I've been given several explanations, but still not clear on it. Figured someone here might know?

  • they actually made one of this

  • I'm not even a Flames fan but I would love to see versus do one with coach Terry Crisp riding the top of the glass (1989?). That was such a beautifully poetic and passionate moment.

  • whenever i see this i want to cry i love this video! lets bring the cup back home nj in 2010!

  • They put the same video on at game 1 on wednesday but at the end it said "What if Patrik wasn't precise".

  • This is missing Larry Robinson running onto the ice...If it had that it'd be perfect.

  • they made an official video of this goal and it's on the devils website. the tag is "what if patrik wasn't precise? History will be made"

  • Great video!

  • good one. let's hope the 09-10 Devils can bring back these memories and create more!

  • fantastic job. will never forget that moment.

  • im a huge Stars fan..like rlly huge but i still thoght the goal was pretty sweet

  • I was five going on six when this happened, yet this remains so vividly among my memories...

I remember my father jumping off the couch and damn near punching holes in the ceiling. :D

  • @pacmanghostx Funny you should say that, this goal was scored on my 6th birthday. My dad let me stay up late to watch the game. It's the first hockey goal that I can clearly remember.

  • @theorangepylons Same here, actually...

This is the earliest goal I can remember watching live, and coincidentally, my father did the same thing and let me stay up late to watch the game. haha

  • This should be an official one.

  • amazing goal i was 4 when this happend i remember it so vividly

  • I think the line you made at the end is better than the one on the official NHL video.

  • Very well done, and clever line.

  • This one is definitely better than any of the official ones. Great work!

  • Watch the Bobby Orr one.

  • Better than any of the real ones.

  • Hey, whats the song?? ^^

  • @carrilbici I'm not sure, I just took the audio from one of the ones the NHL made. I think it might be something that was composed specifically for these commercials.

  • @RandomHero1218 =(.. well thanks a lot for your answer.

  • how do you do that

  • @carrilbici doesn't seem like anyone has a clue what this song is. they use it doing parodies but can't anser this simple question

  • @jurmongler Yeah =(..

  • @carrilbici I've been looking too and im almost positive its just for the commercials. its jsut a series of notes floating over chords.

  • @liveluvlaugh417 =(, i would like to have this song.. i feel so many things when i listen it..

Well thanks for the info ^^

  • @carrilbici sure and yeah i know i totally agree

  • @carrilbici it was written specifically for the NHL commercials as far as i know

  • @MajicPictures Ok thanks for the info! =)

  • lmao

  • AWESOME

  • This is beautiful. Keep your eyes open for the History Will Be Made Devils t-shirt coming out soon
