Well it was the Texas tour. And it was only Angel, not the Cover Girls that are out there now. The video is Freestyle Bomb Concert. Theres video of Connie, Trinere, Sweet Sensation, Angel...a lot. They did add a concert in Modesto. I think that's the name of the city.

God this song brings back sooo many memories. I actually bought this album. This music was underground for so long, and when I got to high school, more mainstream radio stations started playing it. It was cool to finally hear the whole song, instead of a few seconds of it in a mix. It was my school year of 1987-1988, I'll never forget that year!
I know what you mean. I hate freestyle mixes. There alright, but I'd rather hear the whole song. I bought this cd not too long ago called Queens of Freestyle and theres so many good songs, but most of them are like a minute long. :-( Its still a sweet cd. The Kings of Freestyle cd is much, much better though. :-)

Wow Angel, Nickelodeon huh? I thought this was at the Club Mtv studios. I love this song, I would always hear this popular CG song at parties and in the clubs back in the days but I never seen this video. The only video I seen in the eighties was your live prformance at the Arsenio Hall.
It was the Palladium nightclub, where Club MTV was taped. This video was the grand prize in a Nickeodeon contest where the winner got to host a special episode of its "Nick Rocks" video request show and appear in a music video with the Cover Girls (I have fragments of the episode lying around on one of my old tapes somewhere).

God this song brings back sooo many memories. I actually bought this album. This music was underground for so long, and when I got to high school, more mainstream radio stations started playing it. It was cool to finally hear the whole song, instead of a few seconds of it in a mix. It was my school year of 1987-1988, I'll never forget that year!

I know what you mean. I hate freestyle mixes. There alright, but I'd rather hear the whole song. I bought this cd not too long ago called Queens of Freestyle and theres so many good songs, but most of them are like a minute long. :-( Its still a sweet cd. The Kings of Freestyle cd is much, much better though. :-)

Angel still performs with Lil Suzy and Lisette Melendez as S.A.L. aka Suzy, Angel, Lisette. Angels is also on La' Radio Live from time to time. You guys should check it out and join. They play freestyle almost 24/7, depending on whether or not there is a show scheduled.

Wow Angel, Nickelodeon huh? I thought this was at the Club Mtv studios. I love this song, I would always hear this popular CG song at parties and in the clubs back in the days but I never seen this video. The only video I seen in the eighties was your live prformance at the Arsenio Hall.

It was the Palladium nightclub, where Club MTV was taped. This video was the grand prize in a Nickeodeon contest where the winner got to host a special episode of its "Nick Rocks" video request show and appear in a music video with the Cover Girls (I have fragments of the episode lying around on one of my old tapes somewhere).

This so brings me back to '87. I was 7 and remember everything like it was yesterday! Listening to 'Power95 WPLJ', sega games, wwf wrestling, baseball cards, little league, summer camp, checkers, monopoly, the school yard, cassettes, the toy store, the corner pizzeria...what a time that was. My favorites were: Expose, Samantha Fox, Stacey Q & of course The Cover Girls. (Before metal took over).

Because Of You, has got to be one of the most emotional songs you did, especially the beginning. your singing, the melodies. love it, love it.
I like Expose', Sweet Sensation, Pajama Party, Seduction and all the other freestyle girl groups, but nobody compares to the Cover Girls with Angel!
