@TheBriansDenn Not sure about you, but if I hit someone dead center in the sternum with a .338 Lapua, a variable anti-material round, I'd like it very much if they stopped moving or ceased trying to shoot back at me and preferably just die already. Hardcore players are in search of more realism in a game - not having to hit someone in the face once or twice or even three times for a confirmed kill. That's what Halo's for.

@Fuzion Core - One hit kill to the head with any weapon. Two shots anywhere else with sniper rifles and 3 shots with battle rifles.

Hardcore - One shot kill to the head with any weapons. One shot kill with sniper rifles. 2 shots with Battle rifles (Chest shots)

Shots to arms and legs should be one added hit.

@TTD187 Was forced to play in normal mode servers for a few days while the hardcore was down on x-live. And I have really got to say I question that because I've popped people on the top of the head with a .50 cal turret and they twitched and ran from me. Hit my friend and he ran away screaming, I got pissed and hopped out to go get him and popped him again with the USAS-12 point-blank, and he ran me over with a SAW. <_< Just say I prefer HC a lot more.

@Fuzion What you experience seemed more like lag. I've had times when I've consistently shot someone and then someone else killed them, all I got was a supression! I've never had a good story like yours though. I may try HC.

@TTD187 Well it's much more common than lag on x-live in a normal server, but I highly recommend you try yourself some of that HC! You'll find strafing runs in a helo or jet to be a lot more...enjoyable.

at the start you got 271M headshot but in battlelog your longest headshot is 270M  little buggy i guess

I have never used the IRNV scope in over 130hours on BF3 and I've never had a problem with being killed by it but thats just me.

BTW at 10:20 you shot the building 5 secs before the heli flew into it. It was a demolition you caused with the tank round, causing the building to collapse on them :D They deserved it!

If you play back the video a few seconds before the chopper shows up, you see he blew one of the last walls of the building, and few seconds later the building collapses on the chopper.

I believe you can also use the Mav to ram helicopters out of the air. You have to hit them in the front dead on, but it works. It must have something to do with how helicopters interact with other objects in the world. Like how you flip out when you run into a radio tower or something.

You can actually easily take down an enemy helicopter who's seen you first, even if you don't have a gunner who has ECM/Flares. I usually use Below Radar and Air Radar together (Below Radar is permanent). Whenever I'm locked I try to identify where it came from, and fly low and away from the action. If it's a helicopter, I see it on the map and it will always be higher than me, so I turn round and fly under, fly up and shoot it.

@TheEcasx interesting - I never tried Below Radar because I heard it was bugged and didn't work. Just how low do you need to be to trigger Below Radar? If you're below another heli and the heli does see you then any good gunner would be able to pick you off no problem.

All i play, HC. Regular servers, cant kill anyone, such lag is not even funny, so in HC I can actually play the game as it was intended. Yes, teamkill (TMK) really bothers me. Got TMK over the weekend 6 times over a Heli. I was gunner, the pilot took off, saw me in the Heli, he landed, got out, shot me, then took off again, by himself. On Caspian, I got shot exactly like u, nxt to the Heli, then while I was in the Heli. They should fix that, vehicle kill=server kick automatically. simple
