  • Sorry but that's dreadful ! You sing it like it's a shopping list. It should be performed with much more lightness and precision.

  • Awful - no sense of rhythm

  • Painful

  • Love it. This music would have been sung by people who weren't professional singers for amusement and fun. Glad you are getting such enjoyment out of it :)

  • yikes :(

  • Awful! The most interesting part are the costumes!

  • Well done!

  • AMAZING

  • I like it very much ...

I'm just totally in love qith that song from the very first time I heard it.

  • that bass O.O

  • wow...very very slow and don't have anything idea about the period...

  • oops wrong song:

    ww w. mediafire. com/ ?gtggvm2jmb1

  • the a-capella ensemble Amarcord sang it quite goodly:

    ww w. mediafire. com /?zmwirifwzd4

  • por favor perdieron la afinacion y nunca la han vuelto a encontrar

  • Renaissance of cacophony!

  • What about intonation instead of costumes?

  • im a freshman, and we did all of our Madrigals pieces w/out music =P lol but yall are awesome!

  • the soprano's pitch was a little off every now and then, but other than that, great piece.

  • I sit, I sigh, I weep, I faint, I die

In deadly pain and endless misery.

    Semper dolens, semper Dowland.

  • there are so many things wrong with this that it's making my head hurt..

first of all.. renaissance.... no need to throw this in gasoline and blur the colors.

    second.. the costumes are unneccesary.

third... pitch... what are you doing!??!

    fourth..vowel placement, oh my god!!!

    fifth.... DICTION

  • i have 2 sing this song at skool *woe is me*

  • Comment removed

  • pitch problems like woah.

  • Pitch was all over the place...keep in mind its renaissance!

  • I heard this song at my college and I was blown away. beautiful simple yet such a powerful meaning

  • Ow,reactions here are quite negative. I quite like it, though it is indeed a bit slow. Nice work!

  • Sounds terrible, but the costumes are funny.

  • Nice smiles

  • Nice harmonies in places...but these guys really clash. Unfortunately, not the greatest sound I've ever heard.

  • Great

  • I am a musician, so don't assume I have no musical knowledge but that had to be the worst cacophony I have ever heard in my life.

  • none of these voices mix well at all...and nobody is singing in the same style. and the sop is really loud. and the vowels... wow!

  • The soprano sounds off to me. I'm singing this piece right now, and she must be off key.

  • Nicely Done!! (^_^)

  • i love this piece. There could have been better articulation in all singers. And I would have preferred to ehar much more variation in the repeats with different lyrics. Like when singing "un-kind disdain" a hard "k" really gives light to the harshness of the lyrics. And when singing "I kiss" Oooo...such LOVE in the lyrics. Tenderness would really work there. But overall a generally good job. The bass was somewhat loud at times.

  • wonderful version, but the sopran is a little to low here... whatever :)

  • beautiful

  • The one in the middle has nice boobs.

  • I was thinking the same thing.

  • I actually stumbled upon a HUGE mistake in the 2nd verse: "I Sit, I Sigh,..." Now that's correct but here comes the death blow: You guise take it back to the first verse from there. What you should sing as an ending is: "In deadly Pain, and Endless Misery."

I would like to add that, apart from the tune-in at the beginning, it actually sounded reasonable. Unfortunately, the beginning was really off-tune for the sopranos and the altos, but it steadied as the song progressed. Keep it up!

  • wow that is the worst ive ever heard somthign in my life

  • As Randy Jackson would say ... "It was a bit pitchy"

  • Terrible!

  • Omg a totally lovable version w/o out the butcher it up speedy tempo a lot of high schools are doing now. And ignore the criticisms the costumes are neat and no one was to terribly flat!

  • this song sound the best with only a countertenor and a lute, but this is beautiful aswell

  • our choire sung this yesterday...i love it so much!

  • Do you know if this is John Dowland? I don't see it mentioned, but it sounds a lot like it.

  • no idea- but you`re right, it sounds like that.

  • Yeah - It is John Dowland :)

  • I must dissagree, it sounds perfectly fine with that many voices, the problem is that the voices dont blend

  • 'skaoy...sounds better solo :) too,too many voices, especially when there's atleast two parts flat, but i love the song so much, Bravo!!!!!!!!!

  • Bravi! Perfect tempo, great intonation, excellent expressiveness. Really captured the spirit of the piece! Well done!

  • Yay, I found one that I can sing along with... Except you don't have the third verse... That's okay, I still had fun! :D Thanks for sharing this.

  • That's nice! I like it. It's much happier than the version I'm doing for my solo and ensemble district performance... Mine is like a funeral march... 0_o Nice video!

  • very cool, just maybe your bass is not always in tune (probably not the only one (but otherwise it's all good uh))

  • that is nice, but i think it is pretty slow...

  • That is beautiful!

Kate, you GLOW! (that's a good thing...)

  • Thank you!!

  • Just basically awesome.

    =D

  • We so rock.

  • We do, don't we? *grin*

  • @shlafe You DO rock!

  • Sounds very pretty!

  • thank you. :)
