So I was watching this and thinking 'Oh man those shoes look really familiar... and those pants too... looks like Sean...' *scrolls up* Oh lookie. It IS Sean. hahahaha. He is such a silly boy.
¡YO LO QUIIEEERO! se ve mucho más simple sostener pasos && hacer triples (cosa que aun no he podido xD hahaá) pero, ¡Ojala llege a méxico! yo me compro una ¬¬'
¡I want it! It looks much more simple to hold long steps, && making that triple too D: fuuck, I Want that in MEXICO!
@BrixXSM They still use 4 tapeswitch sensors, one on each side of the panel. Basically, that's how most arcade pads are designed. Only the panels, besides looking cooler, don't use the brackets. The people at Andamiro in Korea said this was because many people in those countries play without shoes. Andamiro USA said it was to reduce production costs. Assuming that each double pad had 40 corner brackets costing, say, $15 apiece, that's a savings of $600 a unit worth of corner brackets alone.
@GamePro0012 hopefully the price to the consumer was much lower than the old design but as I can remember those pads are even more expensive than the old ones...
@KanadianKyuubi Yes, it will. And I believe I've seen that in the near future, Pro 2 will actually already be installed on TX cabinets straight from the factory. That's going to be awesome, because the TX cabinet is way past cool!
@jbean3535 I had to put up with those when I lived in Camarillo and played a SuperNOVA 2 at a mini golf place. One of them had a badly alligned metal arm that would slam against itself during the demo. :P
@valius1 As an educated guess, I'm assuming all future PIU games.
Andamiro is the only company that handles the hardware, which implies that any change in the cabinet design will be across both product lines. We'll have to see more new machines ship before we can say for sure, though.
I'd feel a lot better if there were brackets on the outside too. But I like the black brackets on the inside and the panels looks hella sexy. Is this the final product?
This is indeed the final product. When I first saw that there were no brackets at all I was a little concerned, but after playing through a couple of songs I realized that the pads felt great.... sensitive without being overly sensitive, and the lower profile on the metal between the pads is definitely a plus.
WOW! O__o
... that girl was amazing! :O
lol jk they were both great! awesome vid :D

A question.. From this video it seems that on plasma screens even in Pro 2 arrows go jerkily as they have hiccup..
We saw this bad issue with fiesta on FX cabinet and now with fiesta ex or pro 1 on TX cabinets, where the issue seems to be uglier...
So, no way to fix it...?
On GX cabinet or DX wirh LCD monitor all of them run perfectly...
crvx1978 11 months ago
@crvx1978 thats because of the poor quality of the plasma panels used on those machines

So have new sensors been designed, or is it simply the pad design?
