The title says Fullmetal Alchemist, not Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. That means Pride is Führer Bradly and not Selim Bradly. Also, this video was made in 2008 and FMA:B didn't air until April 2009.

Watching the video, It looks like the song can work the other way around too, reminding the protagonists that they're human (or in Marta's case, chimera), fighting a monster.

It's very fitting when Pride strangles Selim, when we see the proud facade fall away and Pride become wrathful.
