No help at all! I own a Samsung Plasma TV Series 550 and AllShare does not come up on my Smart Hub. I researched my TV model on the Samsung website and it says that it is AllShare (DLNA) compatible, but I can't seem to access it. :( Anyone have any suggestions to solve my little dilemma, please send me a message. @stevesg92 yes its that simple. just pulg in your external hard drive using a usb cable and hit the media button on your remote....... The tv it self supports avi,mkv,xvid,mp4 and much more. I got a 6tb hard drive to this tv and its really awsome..... The built in media player in the tv also views photos and plays music......

It would have been nice to be told at the store where I bought the tv that my 51" Samsung plasma 3D 1080p tv did not include wireless capabilties. I guess I need a usb adapter that Samsung charges way too much for. I am going to look at buying one used but man really over $100 for one brand new ? What a joke.

on another note why is it that with PIP I can only choose either air or cable ? why is it that I can't put the computer that is hooked up to the tv in PIP ?

I love the feature because no other TV manufacture has support for this many media containers.. But it's bloody annoying that I cannot manage connected shared devices and remove my PC's Administrator shares. It shows up in SmartTV > AllShare but it's inaccessible, so the first thing I get when I open AllShare is an error. This software works well in general, but needs way more management and "removal" options added to it to keep this shit garbage from occuring.

This "Smart" TV Samsung is bragging about is SHIT! Yes, you can stream media like music, pictures and videos over the network. But it does not solve the demands customers is actually are after, like streaming your computer screen to your TV over the network. I have tried to contact Samsung support about this and they cover it up by giving me all this information about how good the Allshare function is. Allshare is too weak and does nothing more than what any other DLNA device does.

@bulf2000, check to see if your router is DLNA compatible. I had the same problem with an old Linksys 54g router and then I upgraded to a Belkin N600DB dlna compatible router. We have 3 samsung smart t.v. and a external WD harddrive connected to the back of the N600DB usb share port, ripped movies (.avi & .mkv), pandora, netflix online works perfectly. Goodluck.

I don't know if I gone stupid or something. Did buy a Samsung TV with "Connect Share Movie" but it can only show JPG and play MP3. Can someone tell me how to see movies from the pc on it? It don't got DLNA or WIFI.

@bulf2000 I dont know abouth D504( dont know if you made typo) but I can tell you that D503 can only reproduce JPG and MP3 from USB, no video files.

You can connect your PC via HDMI cabel.

@BGdoktor Thank you for the answer. I know I can connect thru the HDMI but the problem is that I allready use 2 monitors and no support for 2 monitors + TV.

On the decription on the tv it says watch movies, photo and mp3 but that seems to be pure BS. :(
