  • oh man i had to watck this 2 times ,,, man ,, damn ...nice thanks

  • man u are soooooo crazy i reallllly love this ... crazy , crazy . crazy ....

  • what people do with their money is up to them, i say good for you mate, I bet only 30% of the people that saw your car that day had any clue what you were doing, and what that mustangs heritage was.

  • Sir: You are wrong on many things. First, his car was a 1968 GT390, not a 1967. And exposure1453 is right, every scene EXCEPT for the engine startup was dubbed with a Shelby Cobra 427. And if you look in the movie, the rear light panel was Highland Green as was the rest of the car. And, the original license plate was JJZ-109. Other than that, excellent video. Car looks good.

  • Looks just like my Bullitt Replica! Except, the antenna is supposed to be in the rear.

  • Goosebumps...

  • that how u drive ya ford,.

i do that all the time :)

  • Was the other scenes from the Mechanic ~!

  • Exactly the same car 40 years later! wow it looks like you frooze the car and thawed it 40 years later lol. At around 3:50 it looks like a ANGRY CHEETAH running fast speed

  • Very gay car...

  • You are in England?

  • Hello how are automatic stangs from the 60s hard to find? I dont know how to drive a stick id like to have one in the feature

  • So me

  • groovy music,lol

  • badass

  • Awesome video! I'm glad that you didn't re-create the dirt scene. That was too cool how you put in your own video scenes. Nice work! Beautiful Mustang.

    James

  • You sir, are a badass.

  • Awesome job on the vid, is it the original 302 heart?

  • Just saw the video not bad, not bad at all. I have one myself 1967 mustang 390 4 spd, rear quarters are 68. I assume you have a 390 as well? You gotta tell me one thing though, you gotta give me the full details of your exhast. That shit sounds amazing, if it is your true exhaust and nothing dubbed in the video like the movie. Sounds very very mean i like it. Give details when you can cheers.

  • First off, Great video! 67-68 who cares? Gotta love it! I never knew that about the unique and often used in movies sound effect of the double clutching. I always thought it was Steves' way of shifting that he perfected in his racing and movies like Lemans. I always wondered what mufflers the real one used, with what looks like 2.5" pipes

  • which was a better chase, bullitt or gone in 60 seconds?

  • Very very nice car,

I've also got a mustang, and the same rims,

But I would like to paint my rims the same way and color as yours.

Could you please tell me what color you used??

  • the colour is a grey metallic shade off black, unfort it was a case of mixing paints til we got the right colour, so a one off I'm afraid!

  • fantastic work mate! loved it and what a great 68fb you have, well done

  • I would give a year of my life to have a Mustang or Charger. Great cars how much is a used Mustang like the 1 you have? Great driving by the way lol. Is it hard to learn a stick shift?

  • good go at it... i JUST came back from S.F. and tried to retrace to route....alot of the sights and streets have changed ......couldn't remember where the final scene took place,..couldn't find it ,...girlfriend was terrified and fed up with my obsession,.....plus, i was driving a rented Corvette ;)

  • @dieseldogg564 Last scene was not in S.F., it was in Brisbane, which is to the south.

Plus the actual scene jumps from place to place all over the city between shots - The Marina, Potreo Hill, North Beach etc. - funny when you live there :)

  • LOL Chase scene on the streets of San Fran.....tribute done in the UK. McQueen turns right and goes up a steep incline road.....you turn right down a flat, empty country road. haha

But still, excellent shape of your Bullitt.

  • I did this exact same, car chase copy, in the UK, in Norwich....why Norwich, well the centre of the gold triangle, is split hills and streets. which looks rather like SF...

    all good stuff

  • lol thats priceless! these pony cars were both being followed by a corvette video car :D thats like having two fighters kill each other and then have the other one bash their heads together :D

  • WELL DONE!

  • Hi there!

    Legendary car!

I see that you painted the deck-lid black. I also think the car's rear was black, but some of my friends disagree and claim it just looks that way, "because it's in the shade".

Do you happen to have some proof or verifiable info on what color the back-end of the car was in the movie?

    Thans a lot!

  • hi, the deck/boot lid is highland green and the rear lights panel across the back of the car is most definitely BLACK on McQueen's movie cars and this one (check out all the google images for 'bullitt chase' or the movie itself and you'll see). this was one of many McQueen changes to the cars to make them look meaner and prob also to cut out reflections of the camera corvette car behind.

  • Nice video, I moved from the UK to Alberta, Canada last year. Apart from the winter the climate is pretty dry, so its kinder than UK weather. My buddy in Didsbury, AB has an identical car to yours. Nice wheels matey......

  • by far the best looking car in the world

  • I always heard that they dubbed over the mustang with a gt40 with a 289..hence the double clutching..is that true?

  • Almost all of the slower street scenes have the actual Mustang noise, which sounds great and could easily be recorded. The faster scenes which didn't allow a good sound capture at 100mph were dubbed over with a GT40/Daytona type car, (the numerous gear changes and clutching prob just cos it sounds great!)

  • thanks for clearing that up for me

  • @HiSpeedProductions Yeah I figured it was something like that because it just didn't make any sense. You are hootlarious, great creativity bro. mad daps on the car and video.

BTW the Triumph Steve McQueen replica is out... cut paste google:

    28 OCTOBER 2011

Hey KingCast how can I be cool like you and Steve McQueen?

  • Hi, nice work. It's cool to see the mustang growling through the (U.K?)

  • did you restore this car?

  • just v well kept in CA last 40 yrs, pretty much original, a few usual mods done then final Bullitt movie car specifications completed
