  • IMPORTANT QUESTION! do you train your rotator cuff as an individual muscle group, or just warm up it? i read somewhere that u must not pre fatigue it before chest and shoulder days, it's recommended to train it in a different day, 3 exercises, 3-4 sets.

  • Thanks, I run for like 1km at moderate speed before my workout and like you, when starting with a muscle group, I begin with a very light weight, then take a jump to a heavier weight and from there start building up graduatly to max.

  • Lui, I just start with incline bench get about 20KG and do around 13-18 reps 1 set only for warm up is that enough or not? thats only for uhh chest

  • a cardio for 10 mins is also a good warmup.i am suffering from tennis elbow from skull crushers and shoulder joint problems from bench press from last 20 days.so eventually i had to take a break from gym for like 1 month.

  • ya I warm up maybe 3 light pyramid sets on the first exercise than everything else I do 1 warm up really light to to give my brain the pattern of what we are going to be doing next. I have found it to be working very well

  • @emericaordie15 Oh sorry, well yeah pretty much what lui did was add on a couple extra sets to which ever muscle was lagging (in his case it was his left bicep) and he did a couple extra sets of preachers if im not mistake. So yeah pretty much just add another set or two onto the lagging muscle group for it to catch up. Using dumbbells instead of barbells is a good way to prevent one muscle from becoming dominant over the other.

  • @emericaordie15 That would be the best way to go about balancing it out, so thats what I would do. 1 leg - leg presses should do the trick.

  • I did my chest day yesterday, also Monday where i am. Tried a new routine which was

    5 sets flat bench-3 sets decline-3 sets guillotine-5 sets dips- 3 sets close grip bench-3 sets tricep pull downs. I was kinda depressed after the workout because i couldn't feel and soreness but i found out the next morning it was just adrenaline and im hurting like a mother fucka right now lol
