Well this is not my area of expertise but a friend of mine who spends 9 months each year training in Thailand told me this...maybe what he meant was that they are not or rarely used in the ring...it seems to me that Ignashov uses techniques from several styles...one thing for sure is that he is an amazing fighter and seems to pull kicks out of thin air just when his opponent thinks he is going to beat him.
