@twisizzle I think they were all the way up because of the time of year and lack of noise from the wind. Also, the exhaust would have distorted the camera if they were down.
so if i get long tubes off road h and flow 40's with mils (stupid question) but wats the chanses i pass in spection or if i get a shop tht ik to pass me eithere way with out cats but WITH MIL eliminators
@minicobra01 The MIL eliminators are just going to keep the errors from coming up in your car. Usually inspections have sniffers to smell how much exhaust fumes you put out...so regardless of MILs or not, the loss of the cats are probably going to fail you. I luckily don't have inspections here in SC.
@austin101385 ya well now tht i think about it guess the only way im going to ever go long tubes its find a shop tht i know ppl in and will some how sneak me into passing inspection....cuz ny is realy strict just like cali with emmission...any other suggestions besides the one i got cuz if thre another way let me here it lol
@minicobra01 I don't know if the Long Tube Headers will make you fail the inspection, but the o/r pipe sure will. A solution to that is to get a catted pipe with easily removable cats so that you can ride without them and then throw them on just for the inspection...just a thought.
@austin101385 ya i seen a few of them on american muscle.com but my question is if there "easy to remove" are they legit cats? and if i cant get a hold of one froma web site u think a shop can custom make one like tht???
@minicobra01 As long as the cats are one when you are inspected (even if they look like they can be removed easily) it makes it legal. You'd have to ask the shop...I don't know how creative they can get.
were ur windows up or down?
