I like this song still too, as all your songs, cause they are originals. Hey this song is amazingly played but I like watching the pretty video with it, as I almost feel I could be in the video relaxed by the water. I luv living by the water here. I don't think I'd ever not live by a beach, lake, river or at the least a huge pond with Koa fish in it! ROFLOL!

This song always makes me relaxed more...great relaxing song! That video is soooo professionally made too! That 2nd pic. your in at the end, I can almost see u grinning...playing the mandolin! ;)

I actually played this song live on the mandolin AT Riverside Park last week! Pretty fitting that I'd play this song there since that was where I wrote it.

One problem: I forgot the @#$%^& words to the second verse! ROFL! Luckily none of the people watching noticed. :)

Thanks! Yes, this is a very happy song about a great place. Riverside Park is one of my favorite places to go. I actually wrote this song down there with the new mandolin I had just purchased that day.

Thanks! I love Riverside. You can often find me busking down there on weekends. ...Or just hanging out watching the barges going by on the Mississippi River. I've even written a couple of chapters in my books over the years while sitting down there.

I must agree that the instrument mix turned out very well. This track was made entirely using the Behringer C-3 mic. I hadn't recieved the MXL's yet at the time.

It will be hard to top this song for sure.

Oops! :| I forgot that I did the LEAD acoustic guitar using the MXL 990. That track was made a couple of weeks AFTER the original tracks were recorded.

All the other tracks were made with the C-3 though.

What a sweet song, and a really well made video to go along with it ... Watching and listening to RIVERSIDE right now really cheered me up after a dull-as-can-be work day :-)!

I love your mandolin, by the way. My late Mum used to play this instrument, and I am fascinated ever since I was a child by this instrument, from the sound, and ho it is played. I still own my Mum's mandolin, by the way; you can see it in my Sherlock Holmes video - but believe me: I just mimic playing it :-)!
