Royler Pound for pound was tops of the Gracies , I believe , even over Rickson ,, because it was Royler that was regularly competing in Mundials and the Abu Dhabi Submission Grappling Tournaments , While the most recent Rickson fights when he was competing i could find in youtube are of him with Japanese pro-wrestlers
People can say what they want about this stuff, but Eddie packaged a bunch of stuff that needed to be taught in no-gi mma guard.... he came up with this stuff he should be given credit for that.
He also has made an art out of the twister, and to be honest it has been around forever, but again he packaged it and put it in a format to be taught in schools..... he has put the word out on alot of stuff.... its just an evolution.... Newton today and Einstein tomorrow, it all evolves.
that's cool. and honestly, from all the pressure these "non-believers" put on an average person, i never liked the idea of weed... but eddie smokes it, so, it's gotta be good for your brain :)
Its not that its "good" for your brain, although that has been suggested in many studies. Its that it unleashes your creative nature, something that anti-weed people look at as stupid because you need a substance to alter your mind. Its like dude, we dont give a fuck if you smoke it, but we do it cause its fun and it really does make you creative. It also doesnt make you violent. :) just wicked at jiu jitsu apparently...
No, its a very good thing. What I meant by not "good" for the brain is the part where you might get brain damage. I think thats all bullshit, but someone prove me wrong.
yeah, and similarly, weed is good for your brain because it boosts creativity, and other things. I don't know of any reliable sources that state it causes brain damage? I think that's just a myth.
It really is. People still rely on the heath/tulin study with the monkeys, when the study that was conducted was completely innacurate and they were idiots for releasing it. And for some reason they still think it causes brain damage, from that study that was done incorrectly, over twenty years ago.
If you do research, nobody can confirm it. Nobody. All government funded websites will have words like "may" and "should" cause brain damage, when there really is no proof to rely on
i dont think weed has a big effect on cardio, it has a minor effect on lung capacity though. i'm not a scientist though :(. It's not that serious though, it's no where as bad as Cigarettes.
hes really talking about nogi. in mma, you can wear knee sleeves and ankle sleeves to give you grip so you can grab your ankle, hug your knee, and have some traction.
my god this shit is gold, innovating the new school of mma, I'm gonna have to get my shit together and start is shit if I'm going to keep up and continue winning fights! Love Eddie Bravo!
I love Eddie's mount transition from twister side control at 4:30. And It's scary that Lister is learning 10th Planet system. Imagine his top game when he doesn't have anything to worry about diving back for legs and ankles.
I've learned more in these 3 videos than I ever will in my bjj classes thanks!

Lots worse then cigs for your lungs if you smoke bongs. Many people scarify their lungs. The tar content is high but that's not the end of the story.
As for brain, it most certainly does effect things, after 15-20 years sentences become stinted as you have to think about which words you're using.
Socially the main thing is a concern that you're not being understood in conversations. It becomes a point of anxiety after awhile.
Anyone who says it's all wonderful hasn't smoked very long.
mryellow123 2 years ago 2
not being understood in conversations doesnt depend on marijuana
it might make you paranoid s othat you think yo udont know what youre saying
but if you KNOW what youre saying, then yo uknow what youre saying
and if someone accuses you of being high and talking shit, then obviously you can say "shut up dumb slut"
FlavaInYaMouf 2 years ago
"it might make you paranoid s othat you think yo udont know what youre saying"
This was my point. It's a side-effect that many feel to some degree.
mryellow123 2 years ago
@mryellow123 just because weed made you retarded doesnt mean it makes everyone retarded too
sotoyota 2 years ago 3
Give it time.
Just saying that the people who say "it's a miracle" are more retarded.

On another note anyone know how long the rubber guard took EB to develop? It must have taken years of work.
nickotine604 2 years ago
who knows...depends on who you are some people catch on faster than others. he probablly was better at this then something else or vise versa
