I can't wait !!! my grandpa might be getting a farm with horses and he told me that he would buy me one !! I am taking horse back riding lessons. I also have had experience my friend and my dads friend ! my grandpa ( moms side ) farmed in italy from when he was 6 years old my aunt nancy ( moms side ) ownded them to but she had to move and my grandma ( dads side ) her father and i beleive her owned horses too. I'm crying SO HARD right now, I've want a horse my whole life. I started riding when I was 4 and i'm 13 now. Next year I (might/hopefully) be moving to a house with a old paddock that needsa bit if work and fencing but it will be worth it :D And the house is 5 mins from mine so I would have to leave my friends :'D

One of the main reasons u don't have a horse is cause my bro thinks it's unfair I get one and he doesnt and I live in Hollabd where there is stables in the middle of the city. There's 2 stables from my house that are 5 to 10 min bike ride and I live in the city. And 3 min bike ride from my school. My parents say if we were to stay, I would get a horse maybe but we are moving back to Canada so everything is so far away and my parents hate living in the country so I have to pretend I own a horse

Kimam01 you should take riding lessons, so when you do get your horse in a year, youll now how to ride. (unless you already do idk) but good luck gettin that horse. I wasn't supposed to get my horse until like a year after I kept asking my mom, in July, and she said no not till I'm out of 8th grade, and I got my horse October 3, 2011! And I love her, so maybe they'll come around!

If u want a horse bad enough u will pay for it yourself and find a barn u can work for board at- go out and do it all yourself- this proves to parents that u r in fact ready for responsibility

Tips to convince parents to let u have a horse-1. Save enough money to buy a broke horse- between $800-$1800, look for barn that u can walk bus or bike ride to- ask to work there for free board- babysit, mow lawns, garden and do all chores- no matter what if u want it bad enough and are willing to work for it and pay for it yourself- no one can stop you.
