Looking for info on a Lakland 55-01 I found this agian - dude, I can listen to you play this song over and over. You really nail it.

@zenradio Thank you, love the Song, it was great to learn it, the original Bassist was great, and it is a classic line. The 5501 is a great Bass one of the best 5 Strings for the money in my opinion and there are a lot of upgrade options if you like to modify. Mine is stock and is working fine for me. Thank you, nice Bass I really like it - great neck, active preamp, you do have to dial in your sound. There are also a lot of mods that can be done - many people put the Nordstrand Big Singles in them and upgrade the preamp. Mine is stock and it works for me- I am buying another Lakland soon because I like this one so much. Good luck!
