  • gives me shivers every time

  • The war dance, wow it's great for the spirit, wish we had one, still the pipes and the fields are fairly inspiring. Good Luck Manu Samoa, Cmon Ireland.

  • Wow I had my stereo up high and now I think I might have gone death that was loud singing and cheering but they were only loud to show their pride go Manu Samoa and the All Blacks

  • I love watching these. There are a couple of Samoan wrestlers in the WWE called The Uso's. They use the siva tau during their entrance to the ring, which is what got me interested in it. It's really awesome to watch, especially because of the choreography of both the verse and dancing and how EVERYONE knows exactly how to do it.

But wow, this crowd went NUTS.

  • LE MANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNU!!! SAMOA MO SAMOA... *singing* ua tasi lava oe i lou nei faamoemoe <3

  • SAMOA ' ALL THE WAAAAAAAY !

  • This reminds of the RWC Sydney all the cars with their flags heading out west lmfao!

    GO MANUUUUUU!

never mind the losers whining on here! Alo i ou faiva ma manuia au taumafaiga uma!

  • According to a article i read in the SamoanObserver a few days ago, this 'SivaTau' that many of us Samoans think thats its called, is actually called 'MANU'...This is according to the person that created it. He also states that it aynt a war dance, saying that you dont dance wen goin to war-u only end up getting killed. Was a bit shocking to me when i was first read it...but then again. This man did write it. U'z can look for it in the Letters to the Editor section.

  • Wow, theephraimite is right. He's got to be one of the most Samoan of all Samoans because he points out what is Samoan and what is not. Clearly what Manu Samoa does is a siva tau, which literally means war dance. Haka does not mean war dance. Theephraimite is a true Samoan & a true supporter of Manu Samoa because he pointed out what is right and what is does not pertain to the fa'aSamoa. I can't believe he's being hated for being right. People just want to be stupid, not right.

  • Can somebody teo me wen is our first game pls, Im tryna change my shift so I can watch my Manu Samoa play!

  • i can only imagine the tackles on the field will be ah..bone crunching

    chiropractors will be busy :)

  • @keilarnamak First of all 'tai lava for sharing. I applaud ephraim . I am appalled ta the trash that gets heaped at him for pointing out something supposedly innoucuous that he is abused for it. There's one thing worst than being incorrect it's an idiot tuaback ignoramus cussing out an uso for coming correct. We are Samoan and proud of all things that are ours. A haka is not! So idiot haters spend more energy being what you profess to be! All the best to our boys at RWC2011. Keep it SA!

  • Auuuu...magaia lava guku o le bolo Lea I lalo...se Hogi ma le faapogi sili ga beat up oe e kamaiki Pakamea ..a e le fia kapuai I le Manu ia pugi ma le masa o le ea! Lol!!!

  • It has began Samoa arrival has the people of Auckland wrapped in RWC fever imagine if we won Go The!! Manu!!! Samoa forever cheeeehhhhoooooo!!!

  • lol why am I not surprised at all the nonsense on this youtube video. Some people will always want to put other samoans down. Anyway, doesn't take away from the rousing welcome Auckland gave to the Manu Samoa. Nowhere else in the world, except Faleolo airport, would they get such a welcome. Alo pea i ou faiva Samoa!

  • Some peoples lives are so miserable that they have to bitch and moan over such a little insignificant thing like this...you fucken Sad ass POS! JUST SUPPORT OR DON'T!! I would call it the Siva tau Haka and leave it at that...losers!

  • Comment removed

  • @kllrazor agree with you bro..you either support it or don't, call it Siva Tau, Haka watever...'GO THE MANU !!

  • C'mon guys @theephraimite is just correcting the title, the Manu were performing the Siva Tau NOT the Haka. Siva Tau = Samoan War Dance, Haka = Moari War Dance. However, everyone on here is entitled to their own opinions, all part of discussion.

  • @djhumble11 Thanks. You're young, but you can see the light. Sadly, all these angry people are in their 30s. All I did is make a simple correction, and they cry like little babies. The saddest thing about it, many of other cultures make videos of the siva tau and mistakenly call it the haka. I, like other Samoans & Maoris do, correct them, and they appreciate it. But our own lost people can do the same; they get bitter instead.

  • lol OR the Samoans living outside of New Zealand...lol I'm Samoan but live in New Zealand and have a lot of Moari and Pakeha mates. It's like, for instance, the All Blacks performing the Siva Tau... O.o

  • Anyways, back to the real world. I, may not be a fan of rugby, but am very proud to be a Samoan, so thank you for the upload. Really appreciate it. Stay blessed everyone, and go da MANU!! :)

  • It is nun of my business 2 bud in, bt seriously com'on guys, dis was uploaded 4 us 2 Njoy nd 2 hve pride 4, nt 2 argue nd disagree ova. Yes, Samoans Rn't da best pple on dis planet. Who is? No 1’s perfect; nt evn myslf. Is dat nt y we're here? 2 make a change nd 2 improve on da past. I'm just saying. we shuld b supportve of each otha despite our differnces nd wat has already been dun. We may nt be able 2 change da past, bt we sure cn do sumthng about it now. So please, cn we all just get along??

  • Come on people...save the ego battles for another day. This is the time to support our brothers on the field. lets go MANU SAMOA!!!! CHEHHHOOOOOOO!!!!

  • Thanx uso for the post up....I waited for a mention from the TVNZ & 3 news lastnight and on Sports tonite.... nothing!!! Then flicked between both morning shows before work...nothing!!! TNZ finally posted up after 10am. NZ media missed the essence of the world cup which was captured by you....so I've played it probably 200 times to everyone at work and home...when the crowd joined in the 2nd time round with harmonies,,,,there goes the tears in the eyes lol....Thank again....chahoooo!!!!!

  • @roosda Only a pacific Island gathering you would find the crowd singing a song (unrehershed)in harmony!!!!

  • iknew there was gonna be beeping after this,

  • whooooo hoooo.....GO MANU!

SAMOA ALL THE WAY....GOOD LUCK BOYS!!!

  • Oh, it's should be our time on YOUTUBE to enjoy all the hype about the Manu Samoa's arrival and preparation for the Rugby World Cup and to give our support for our boys! No need to get educated on here at this time. Leave that until some other time. Let's get all united as Samoans! Faikau mai isi races faapea e omai foi Samoa e share i le lakou manu i le youtube ae omai fo'i feaiga'i iigei.

  • @keilarnamak - haha true! You work at the airport too? New uniform looks very smart!

  • Theephraimite..... like the angry samoan man says, when he rang air new zealand....GeT a FuCk Bitch! dont potz it lol

Kelianrnamak thanks for the post! Im really regretting not going to the airport yesterday shet! lol

  • @soonalote Nice, but I'm not the one using foul language here; so, I'm not the angry one here, so you can use your "angry Samoan man" speech on somebody else.

  • Oh, it's should be our time on YOUTUBE to enjoy all the hype about the Manu Samoa's arrival and preparation for the Rugby World Cup and to give our support for our boys! No need to get educated on here at this time. Leave that until some other time. Let's get all united as Samoans!

  • even though "HAKA"might not be a Samoan word but when siva tau and haka is translated into english i means the same thing . thanks keilarnamak for putting this up. heard it was packed but all the best to the boys during the world cup. CHEEHOOOOOO!!! hate is the last thing we need right now . SAMOA MO SAMOA :)

  • @eliatiatia ia ok KAKA lmao

  • @SuperKakashiSenpai um you're pretty dry mate lol

  • @keilarnamak lmao not a big deal and yet u changed it! that makes perfect sense!lol but siva tau sounds way better! has a nice samoan ring to it!lol mean crowd at the airport and shot for the upload coz i cant find any other footage of the welcoming yesterday:-)

  • @MoPhSTrOL lol Hey all in fun! Yes Siva Tau sounds better, i appreciate the correction. Thanks!

  • @theephraimite Would it be any different if they came to America & the headlines read "Manu Samoa performing their 'swag'? Means ALL the same to me!

  • @kehaly " Would it be any different if they came to America & headlines read 'Manu Samoa performing their swag?"

    Uh...yeah.

  • @theephraimite Well then maybe you should work for YouTube & be their personal corrections officer

  • @kehaly "Well then maybe you should work for YouTube & be their personal corrections officer."

I know. That is a wonderful idea. Thanks for the suggestions.

  • @keilarnamak You didn't have to change it just because that fiapoko ufa. Kukusa uma igoa ole haka. Haka would definately get you more views too lol

  • @downupO lol sweet, its tagged under haka anyways. thanks for watching!

  • @keilarnamak Like I said, I'm not here to debate anything. As you said I should check 100s of other "Samoan hakas", I tell, I did eons ago. Guess what? I'm not the only one who's corrected them. Many Samoans & Maoris who are offended by them corrected them too. Also, many of them of other cultures appreciated being corrected and made the correction. So it's sad that other cultures accept reproof, but our own people can't. Is that your idea of being patriotic?

  • This is such an awesome moment in history for us as Samoans ;)

  • Thank you soooo much for sharing this! Can't stop watching it! Saw few familiar faces in crowd! My sis works at airport says biggest crowd they've ever had!

  • Oh my gosh!!! This is bloody awesome (",) I'm from Australia n bloody oath u guys in new Zealand are awesome, couldn't hear the Haka so it goes to show that all u MANU SAMOA supporters are true..... god bless the team n it's fan n god bless new Zealand cheeeeeehooooooo

  • Thanks USO! AWESOME VIDEO!!!

  • I mean theephraimite is lol

  • Mean! Can't wait for their game in Rotorua! We driving down to watch the boys in blue! DownO is right lol. Funny though, not long ago we were having that same discussion! Lol

  • I'm gutted I couldn't make it to the airport last night to welcome the team especially after seeing this video. The atmosphere is electric!!! Thanks heaps for posting this and sharing the love =)

  • GO SAMOA! Thanks for upload keilarnamak

  • @theephraimite Siva tau = War Dance, Haka = War Dance, genius. Get your Mouth out of your Arse and be happy that keilarnamak has put this up in support of The Manu. Why do you have to come on here a look for the negative in this...

  • @downupO My dad just read your comment and thinks exactly the same.

  • @downupO I didn't come here 2 argue, but u r wrong. Firstly, haka is not always a war dance; it's a generic term for all sorts of dances. Secondly, I'm not being negative; I'm just making a simple correction (as the culture must be taught in truth), and youtube allows me to do this as long as it's ok with the person who posted this vid. Hellooo, that's why this vid was posted; it's for people to view and comment. Speaking of negativity, u should look @ da way u replied & ur choice of words.

  • @theephraimite Haka and Siva Tau have one in the same meaning. Get over it, stop trying to sound smart by googling your facts. "Firstly, haka is not always a war dance..." Not always but it is....

As for the youtube thing, well you posted, I viewed and I commented.

Ma'imau a kaima e tautala fua i lea aikae. lol

    SAMOA MO SAMOA!

  • @downupO Why do I have to google anything when I speak Samoan, lived the life, and taking Polynesian history. But haka is not a Samoan word. You are making this big. I just made a simple correction and u get defensive. Palagis & Asians and those of Asia minor make vids like these and I corrected them and they say thanks for the correction. Why can't you do the same? You could at least ignore me. And now you're using foul language.

  • @theephraimite That's enough already. You gonna support Samoa at the RWC by moaning that they don't do a Haka that they do a Siva Tau? And you started this with you komo comment "Manu Samoa does not do the haka, genius." How is that simple correction? Derogatory...wait I hope i spelt that right, can you check for me Mr Fiapoko.

  • @samoanjess It's not a derogatory word. But if u insist on making an argument in the manner I used it, I tell ya, if it was used in reference to me, I would have easily overlooked it & perhaps chuckle a little. Also, it does not compare to the word "komo" you used. And I don't need to check anything for you because your failure to disagree with me in a respectful manner and recognize the fact that I am entitled to my own views does not constitute an emergency on my part. At least be insightful.

  • @theephraimite I meant your googled facts about the haka. Does Polynesian History teach you that having a misa online with another Samoan is the best way for you to come across as a non-fiapoko-fia'aikae ufa? Let me give you a lesson in real fa'asamoa. KEFE! lol

  • @downupO Actually, the real fa'aSamoa is about respect, something you have failed at. Your use of foul language shows that you have nothing insightful to say. It is very typical of unenlightened, primitive-minded Samoans like yourself to respond with anger when you come across something you can't fathom. I did not come here to argue, but you made a big deal out of it.

  • @theephraimite What you know about fa'asamoa all Fairy Tales. All this respect is bullshit. If you're a real samoan you would know that Samoan's are the most corrupt people on this planet, conniving and manipulative. There are some real respective Matai's out there that are trying to change the way of the old fa'asamoa that we know today, where the matai's take all and leave only the scraps for the village. Matai's are as fouled mouth as I am behind closed doors. Get a clue Mr Fiapoko.

  • @downupO So true. Well said.

  • @downupO get a life bro

  • @theephraimite You can't come on here and try to school me with you fancy words but in the end you don't know shit from the shit that you wipe from your arse. The Big Deal is = you think you know about Fa'asamoa when you really are in denial about how fa'asamoa is the downfall or barrier holding back samoa from progression. Progression to a more fruitful Samoa.

Samoa mo Samoa. That was the fight. Powered samoan's now days don't see that, they see Samoa mo A'u. Get it? No? Get another Clue plz.

  • @downupO Speaking of progression, part of going forward means u listen to other views without being foul-mouthed & bitter. Fa'aSamoa is not the problem; unenlightened primates that r bitter & selfish, who r unable to cope with the modern world while holding to culture, like yourself, r the problem. Corruption in other countries is worse (murder). Haka does not mean war dance; siva tau does. The title of this vid has changed in my favor. I win, you lose. Don't reply because u r blocked, looser.

  • @downup read some of your drivel and it may pay for you to take your own advice brother... be happy aua le ita. Ephraim is right and it is a small thing but we are samoan. Do a haka and sell that to our peeps back home? To afe! We'll see how far you get okay? yeah let's leave it there and put some energy into supporting our boys your type of poison is the issue not fa'asamoa. Bless you uso.

  • @bombertheelephant Ritht on bro. I can't believe theephraimite is hated for being right. Clearly he was just making a simple correction, and all t hese grownups cry like babies. It's like they can't stand being corrected. They r the reason y many people think Samoans r stupid. You point out their mistake, they get mad, & then they demonize you. Everybody is giving them the thumbs up for being stupid. That means they are all stupid. What a shame! U & E are Samoans; these Neanderthals r not.
