I'm definitely buying a jellyfish tank from you guys here in the close future. So informative, enthusiastic, and you guys supply everything. Can't wait to get a jellyfish tank!!!
@jsbsword i swim with Aurelia aurita (moon jellies) quite often and i am frequently stung. there are certain parts of your body that wont feel the sting due to the thickness of your skin (such as your palms and bottom of your feet) but other areas are highly susceptible to being stung. try and kiss the underside of one and see if you feel anything...
@captnbrimster i would rather not. but that solves the mystery of why i didnt feel anything when i was diving and stung by one on my hand by accident. all i really felt was a fleshy substance lol.
@collincoburn In captivity jellyfish will live up to one year. You need to feed them this way once every day. It usually takes about 1 minute from start to finish. Check out our website at JellyfishArt [dot] com for more details.
@JellyfishArtDotCom There are 3 types of plankton: plant plankton, small animal plankton, and large animal plankton. From what I saw, it looks like the large animal plankton, but which type of plankton do you feed them? (I know that some jellyfish eat other things in the wild such as fish.)
@MrGogify Jellyfish need to be fed once a day with a pea sized chunk of our jellyfish food. You can see what we feed them on our website: Jellyfishart [dot] com
Whats in the jellyfish food? I'm getting a couple soon and no local pet shops sell Jellyfish supplies so looks like I have to get it myself.

Warninjax1 3 months ago
Do you have to always directly feed them like that or can it just be injected into anyplace in the tank?

When you squirt the food under them, do you run the risk of hurting them?
shimmyjamily 1 year ago
@shimmyjamily No that's not really a problem. The only risk is possibly sucking the jellyfish back into the feeding tube, but that is easy to avoid.

@dogglet1234 Jellyfish can live several years in captivity. They can withstand poor water quality and are pretty hardy compared to other fish.
