Sure, maybe not the greatest scratch vid out there.. But holy shit, can u ever cut that fader fast! that's skill right there, I couldn't do it that fast to save my life
CDJs aren't designed for scratching. In many cases the feature is available as an incentive to buy them but the technology isn't where it needs to be to really make them practical. I would be willing to bet he bought them for mixing and is just trying his hand at scratching. This also seems the case based on his mixer.
U are good. Dont say that u dont. Believe to ur skills, and u will become better.. only practice..:) i liked it..^^. One reason to become better, is to be the decks more close to ur arms, and to dont "fall"on the decks:)) I dont know.. Try it.. An idea

my fader is kinda broken need to be replaced :)
but I'll do with it ( cuz i bought djm used, some minor problems needs to be fixed )
I got my stuff one month ago and I'm learning intensively,:p
nobann 3 years ago
For someone who's learning intensively you got it down good man!
I also got my djm used with the cdj800 ....
and my cdj800 mk2 is new!
I dont know why my cdj800 jog wheel is way looser than the mk2 .... maybe they where mad that way ....
still works good though ... but it turns like 5 times easier than the mk2 wheel!
malistiks 3 years ago
it's normal they changed the jog on the mkII to make it harder just like the 1000's jog:)
but some people like that loosy jog :)
nobann 3 years ago
It's nice 2 know ... cause i thought it was wearing off
Actually i find it sucks 4 scratching ...
(thats why i only use the mk2)
But for beat mixing i find it better
Got used to the feel of both of them :)

malistiks 3 years ago

Tomlikesmusic 3 years ago
no its a pioneer djm 600 i have a curve on the cross fader but not on the other faders..
the problem is the cdj's
vinyl is way better 4 this no digital sound at all and handles way better
i scratch just 4 fun im more into mixing ...thats why i got cdj's :)
malistiks 3 years ago
oh lol its set out just like the DJX700
i cant scratch for shit but hay i can mix =]
i have 2 kam CDJs(which i mainly only use for samples)
And 2 numark tt500s which i just timecoded to work with virtual vinyl
not too bad for 15 ay?
