Samsung NC10 Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope + Compiz

my god...It looks sluggish to the point of being unusable...Can somebody please tell me if a vanilla installation of ubuntu on an NC 10 would be this slow?

@longusnickus Wenn du damit Ubuntu 9.10 meinst, ja es ist weiterhin möglich. Wird auch in Zukunft mit 10.04 auch funktionieren ;)

@Dicker182 gibt es dazu deine anleitung... also auch wie man zusätzliche plugins in compiz einbaut.... ich finde dazu nichts

den effekt bei 1:03 habe ich hinbekommen indem sich die maximierten fenster jetzt nicht mehr verkleiner wenn man aran ziehen

aber für das drehen wird man das plugin brauchen

BTW I've had previous versions of Ubuntu befroe where I was able to drag the window corners down as a part of the Wobbly Windows effect but for some reason I can't do that anymore. My windows are still wobbly but whenever I try to drag the corners down, the windows just get smaller. Is there something in my Compiz settings I need to re-adjust to make my windows stay the same size as I drag the corners down?

Hope someone can help me with this, thanks! :)

Hello. Open the CompizConfig manager. Go then to the module "move window" and get the hook in "maximized window snaps cancel" out.
