Makes me sad hearing all the wishing to could maybe possibly be and within seconds (as the racing world runs) all of this coming crashing down, what a waste, an amazing colt for sure. Keeping him alive with the injuries he had for so long is a controversial subject, some believing that it would go for a happy ending, others believing it was cruel, and money objective, whatever you think, everyone for the most part would agree that this was likely to be the next super horse, we'll never know.

That is why God took his reins and rode him off... now he's duking it out with Eight Belles, Ruffian, Pine, and more in the big racetrack in the sky. I salute you, Barbaro. RIP. I've never been around a horse like Barbaro,but I have seen horses with supreme confidence in themselves. And yes you can see it,especially if you know what to look for. No matter how well bred a horse is,if they don't have the "heart" to compete they will never get it done. I believe with all my heart that they know when their good,and its that confidence that gets them thru tough going. Its always been that way and it will never change. You just try to be smart enough to realize it when u c it

Michael is so modest...Most trainers would take all the credit...Not Michael...Yeah he has to help him train and look after him...But like Michael said " Michael Matz, Kentucky Derby Champion, I don't look at it that way. I know, this might sound a bit harsh, but I am actually a tad glad that Big Brown did not win the Triple Crown.

I mean, we would have never heard the end of Dutrow and his bigass mouth. We need a trainer like Matz to win the crown ya know. He really deserves it.

Let's just hope that one of Barbaro's siblings will bring him there, in hopes to accomplish a, "to good to be true story"
