  • i love the way u shift ur gears :D

  • I cant sleep ... But with this engine music I think will be easy ;)

  • What is the thing that you do at 3:15 while downshifting? I am no professional or have any track experience, just curious. Thanks. :)

  • forget the bike i think this guy is a great pro racer.

  • Dude is that an RS250 breathing down your neck_??? :D

  • You didn't come off, that's all that counts :)

Looking to do better on my ZX-6 and CBR 250RR (i love embarresing higher powered bikes on my CBR :))

    Good stuff dude :)

  • awesome man when im older im gonna get a r1 just like u!

  • Nice video stretch, its amazing reading comments of people that can ride fast around mallala, but yet we don't see them competing against us in competition. Considering we are leading the points.

    See ya at the track

  • awesome camera position , everythin else is realy bout the power of the r1. but in saying that some has to point it and point it you do very smoothly .turn 2 one of the most important corners at mallala , you nailed it in succession everytime, pitty we cant see the race face ? i think the odd corner would of seen ur mouth wide open ?. 12 months on hows the pace piked up?

  • in a couple of breaking areas you can see the rear dance, some how I don't think he is breaking softly. It is far easier to maintain speed than come into a corner so hot you need to correct just about everything. At least that is what I have found, nice gear changes, lean and throttle control...excellent style, I wouldn't listen to internet arm chair rossi's. Ride on mate, can't wait to get my CBR 600 07 out there, just need some race glass :(

  • great vid mate, was out there yesterday, no where near as good as you but was damn fun!!!

  • Mate, so long as you're on the track and doing your own thing, its awsome fun!! Once you have done a few ride days, join a club (Eg: Cafe Racers etc...) and get in to some racing, this is a HEAP more interesting and you"ll love every minute!

  • not enough lean angle (maybe buy better tires - Pirelli's my fav, if u have sliks allready don't be scared) u brake tooo early, also dont soft brake, brake hard or dont tuch it! if u manage to do that ur gonna gain 3...6 sec on the track

  • What times are you doing around Mallala?

  • was there only once, was doing 1:16-17s constantly on my GSX-R 600 and personal record at 1:15

  • Thats interesting, as my mate (who is riding in the video) is lapping Mallala in 1:15s.... consisently. Thanks for your input though, goodluck with YOUR lean angles and braking!

  • Wish I can lean like that on my R1

  • what year is your R1?

  • Its an '07

  • very nice! I hope to get my '03 R1 to the track sometime!

  • You should mate, its the most fun you will ever have. If you ride on the street but have never hit the track, you will be amazed at how much you will improve your riding from spending time on the track. Like I said to Tinigy, look up "Champions Ride Days" as these guys have monthly meetings suitable for everyone from beginner to race, its well worth it!!!

  • DO u know how lucky you are XD im 16 years old and would LOVE to do a trackday even if its just on my aprilia rs 50 i love yamaha r1's

  • Hey Tinigy. Track days are easy to get in to, and they will generally let a 16 year old ride, provided you are not a huge amount slower than everyone else. There are always multiple classes on the day so you would just be put in the suitable group. Look up "Champions Ride Days" on google as these guys to days in SA and VIC, they are very helpful and a good day of riding at a decent price. Give it a go!

  • Thanks !!! i will use ur information wisely

    thanks a lot!!

  • Thanks nicenice123.. i'm sure you would be missing it.

The camera is the GoPro Motorsport model, I mounted it on the flatest possible part of the front fairing with the provided suctioncap mount. Then just chuck a few cable ties around the mount to ensure it doesnt fall off the bike if the suction loses grip.

  • Great footage mate, What camera you using here and how is it mounted?

    *KNACKERS #83 R1*

  • nice video mate.. looks like your really enjoying the track... oh how i miss it = (
