tey wont let u use the gps on the 31K A4.

  • question

if i buy the base A4

is there any GPS navigator that i can put in?

  • yah its standard in all audis now (2009 +)

  • no its not, its a 2500 dollar option only on premium plus and prestige, not the base

  • they said its not as fun as BMW

  • im buying one to stimulate the economy

  • lol

  • The 2.0 TDI with 140bhp 7 speed multitronic auto can do 5.4l/100km not bad for an automatic! The interieor is way better than BMW's. Who cares about handeling of a BMW, I mean who wants to go around bends at 80mph anyway? you would have to be driving like an idiot to loose control of the Audi! Anyone who says A modern turbo diesel is inferior to petrol has not got a clue about diesel cars. The high torque means you don't need such high horse power, and they are not noisy and smoky anymore!!!

  • both the 330d and this audi are v6 diesel...have you actually ever driven one? 8 liters per 100 km with that performance...try it with a petrol engine.

  • you're a moron

  • how the fuck does it spoil everything?

  • bigpizza, Audi is famous for interior design. This a UK review (duh) so hence the

different spec car with a sportier interior design......and the steering wheel on the right.....

  • crazy car

  • Audi has suggested that the TDI will eventually make to the US market. The States has been more concerned with particulate emissions than Co2, meaning it's more difficult to run diesel legally = less diesel cars.

  • unfortunately true.

i hate the gov't's bias against diesels :(

  • Agreed...It's now especially sad that many new diesel vehicles are nearly are as clean and efficient as hybrids, and the States will not see any of this technology for years. Doh!

  • well I know north america will get some of the bigger diesels this year. I my self would like to see some of the smaller diesels here since they do much better fuel economy.

  • How true, but then you have to consider the fact that the average US buyer hears the word "diesel" and the freak out cause they think it's gonna be LOUD and SMOKEY and SLOW, but little do they realize how clean and fast they are now.

  • Well maybe in the USA but in Canada 49% of the VW cars sold are sold with a tdi, I know Canada is ready for better diesel options.

  • I envy you. I mean I watch Le Mans and I see Audi and Peugeot with their crazy turbo diesels and think to myself "why can't I have that?"

Personally, I was really hoping for the 3.0 TDi to come to the US, but regulations keep us from getting that and I think that's so STUPID and pointless. The cars have wonderful fuel economy AND performance. It's a win-win but they want to lower the emissions.. and yet we still have Hummers.

  • this is true, not to mention the bio diesel now with is a very clean fuel.

  • Absolutely. And the fact that most german car companies actually equip their cars for biodiesel makes it even easier. Oy... I wish these emissions regulations didn't make us lose such huge amounts of fuel economy.

  • I'm an Audi fan with no doubt, I've got the Audi RS4, but I've heard that the new bmw 530d gets better fuel economy than a toyota Prius...and thats diesel!

If they offered it within the U.S I'd just about buy it hands down. A car with better gas than the Prius with the elegance and class since after all its a bimmr

  • thats because it meets uk standards, once it meets the u.s. standards, it would lose a lot of mpg the benz diesel looses around 20 mpg due to the fact that u.s. standards of emissions are different

  • *sigh* why can't we have the TDIs in the US :-(

  • It has to do with some regulations which seems to suck... :(

  • No kidding... we can have "flexfuel" vehicles that aren't really even designed to run E85 properly that pollute like crazy but this is just out of the question...

  • sigh
