pasha because she did not want to be oxana anymore, because of oxana bayul, who had problems with drinking...

so she has changed her name from oxana to pasha...i think if u search youtube, u will find a program about this subject..she was also involved with zhulin...it is quite interesting program to watch...

I think that even Anissina/Peizerat's program was way better and much more touching than G/P's. But so's figureskating, pretty often it's not the best performance to win but the skaters that have been most present throughout a season and thus are most familiar to the judges.

Oksana and Evgeny absolutely magnificent skaters and performers. there is NO ONE could be ever compared to this two. There in the Queen and the King of ice dancing.

Well, G&P may very well be in the class of their own what the technique is consent, but K&O are superior in the presentation. Especially Angelika. She is truly an outstanding actress on the ice.

Of course, it is not the quality, that is indispensable for a great ice-dancer, many of them don't have it, but when one does posses that, it is very captivating.

And I am sorry to say that, but I find G&P rather vulgar.

... and let us not forget that G&P had a stumble in the first CD (Golden Waltz) but were not judged accordingly... they still won the dance. I agree though, that K&O could not have taken the Gold medal. The results to this competition were predetermined.

I disagree. G&P had that small stumble but Anjelica's odd back posture was pronounced in that dance and she struck an unattractive position where the woman is parallel to the ice. K&O also skated with too much space between them in the Argentine tango, their jive had easier choreography than G&P's (although G&P's fell flat in the expression). And G&P's FD was the most difficult. K&O skated a very sharp and well rehearsed FD but the choreography just wasn't there, especially in the handholds.

I understand that I do not know the full story and it is likely that Oksana herself was the victim in this situation. We cannot always believe the media slant on a story. Oksana is an exceptional skater.

This was a farce and a half. Everyone knows that Bourne and Kraatz were blocked out of the medals as a result of the OD. The riverdance routine was far superior to these mellow dramatic over-gestured programs of the Russians and French team.
