And with that, comes the feelings, the sadness, and struggle that I keep inside. Have you ever vented before? For me, this song is a kind of therapy. When I feel down I just sit alone in my room and let all my deepest feelings emerge as I listen to it. However I never ever share with anybody what comes to my mind when I do this.

thats another masterpiece, which shows mankind the magic of music. we all have had some bad happenings, some sad moments in our life´s, and with this kind of nmusic we can go back to this moments, and maybe see them now in another way. so we gain more courage for the things to come.
I beat silent hill shattered memories RIGHT before shutter island, so I kind of knew what would happen at the end. If you've played shattered memories, you'd know what I mean.
The two had very similar plots, though shutter island's was way more plausible.
I didn't think that it was an amazing film, but it was an extremely good one and a nice change of pace from the usual Hollywood slop.
I think that this song makes everybody emotional, it's just amazing. The woman sings it perfect with a lot of passion... Certainly the best song ever !
One of those rare songs that made me cry when I first heard it. The ending to Shutter Island was well-done in it's own way, but this last song tied everything together so perfectly and just reduced me to tears.

For me, this song is a kind of therapy. When I feel down I just sit alone in my room and let all my deepest feelings emerge as I listen to it. However I never ever share with anybody what comes to my mind when I do this.

@palwe I'd just like to know who you are to judge anyone else's decision to post their personal matters on here. Its unanimous and its a method of feeling better within in oneself. Not everyone has the 'perfect' life you expect them to have. If anything, don't bother to read the comments because thats just about what every moving song is going to have. I thought that was common sense but i guess some need to be explained to.

I beat silent hill shattered memories RIGHT before shutter island, so I kind of knew what would happen at the end. If you've played shattered memories, you'd know what I mean.
The two had very similar plots, though shutter island's was way more plausible.
I didn't think that it was an amazing film, but it was an extremely good one and a nice change of pace from the usual Hollywood slop.

One of those rare songs that made me cry when I first heard it. The ending to Shutter Island was well-done in it's own way, but this last song tied everything together so perfectly and just reduced me to tears.

why is it when i hear this song i get that spine shivering feeling...i feel alone and cold, like no one out there understands. I close my eyes and just let the music hit my ears. I try and try but cannot stop the tears from forming....my hands, they start to shake...this is what it feels like to be simultaneously happy and sad....to know there are songs out there that just stop you in your tracks and make you fall deep into your thoughts....just an amazing song.
