  • yup! It WAS released In1973!!! It was on of my favorite singlesto play on the air,I always wished that The 45rpm single Had a Longer duration!!!Curtis had it in his 1972 movie score soundtrack of Superfly in 1972!! I believe that there was a single on Mowest I don't remember if it was the "A" side or not by the Sisters Love that we also used to play! in 1973 too! But Barbra had the first and best!!!!to be released as a single And Hit!! although I also played Curtis's version also as a album cut!

  • @doctanner1 nah, this had to be after 73, i do believe this was apart of the superfly soundtrack in that year, so this was probably a few years after that ,i read it was recorded in sigma sound, with gamble and huff dem deh.in philly
