@randomsketchguy10 Cole Younger was an outlaw of the James-Younger Gang. The bust in his eye is most likely a wound from the attempted robbery on September 7, 1876.
willhoit63 you said doc holliday did not kill johnny ringo history says he did..my question is were you there did you see who killed ringo.you must have if you can dispute history.unless you wre there you dont know.if you say study proves it cant..in order to study it you would have have to know all the facts..not just what people say but facts..there is no way you could know holliday didnt kill ringo..you are only guessing.
@arkieallen No one knows who killed Ringo. He was found dead at Turkey Creek Canyon in Arizona. Many People have been put forth as Ringo's murderer, including Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday, O'Rourke and Buckskin Frank Lesilie. Court records show that Holiday was fighting a court case in Colorada at the time of Ringo's death....500 miles away. Ringo's death was ruled a suicide even thou he was shot in the back of the head.I guess nobody really cared.
most people dont know but their really was a johnny ringo and he was as quick and dangerous as any of the earps or the clantons that is why they found him shot in the head as he slept that is the way the really fast guns wound up shot in the back or when they slept speeking of graves check out msbones 1950 a waiting grave if your in tulsa it might interest you
I've been to geronimo's grave several times. It's on Ft. Sill, next to Lawton Oklahoma. It's always decorated with coins and tobacco. Supposedly one of the Bush's stole his skull for worship in their Skull n Bones society.
at 1:42 on the head stone of robert ford it's says born in 1841. that can't be right he was too young to fight in the civil war with jesse because he was a child. and he would have died at 51 years old. he was in his 30's when he died! so the head stone is wrong or history is wrong.
Thank you for this tribute to the men of the Old West. Good, bad or ugly, may we never fail to emulate their strength, or walk in their manly courage...
I agree with the commentor below...it would be great to have the names for each of the grave photos, many are too difficult or impossible to read. But it's still a cool vid.
i have found every grave sight exsept belle starrs. she is buried down at eufala oklahoma on private land. near the river. but my family that has been there is all gone now. and its funny she was a big part of the west and jesse james and not much has been written about her. anyway anbody hollar if they know anything god bless.
i understand youre point exactly growing up in the hills of oklahoma. ive seen and heard a lot of history myself. and wondered how in the hell did they ride a horse everywhere. lol talk about saddle sore now. god bless.
Yeah he was cool, amazing to think his daughter was still alive when i was born in 69... would love to see a documentary about him... also i love the way you have Jesse James grave show up just as the harmony part of the music plays
@willhoit63 there is a few good websites all about the old west..and there is alot about clay allison and other outlaws like him that never became realy infamous but were much worse than the likes of billy bonney and the earps..etc its all fasinating stuff..thanks for this video..10/10
doc holliday's grave is at the botom of the cemetry hill, not in the cemetry, he past on in the wenter time and the town's pepole were going to put him in the cemetry in the spring time, becouse of the snow, but left him there now he is in some one's back yeard! at the bottem of the hill,!!!
Great collection. Thanks for posting.I live in Round Rock,Tx and I'm just right down the street from Sam Bass' grave. The original got stolen so they replaced it with that one.I've been studying alot about John Wesley Hardin and some time soon I'm going to make a trip out to El Paso and pay my respects. Thanks again for posting.

Boy that was great, I used to live in Tombstone, Arizona and was a tour guide there for many years. So I knew most of these pictures. But I never saw most of the tombstones. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for creating this piece of art. You made my day hombre. BTW, contrary to popular belief Morgan was not buried in Tombstone, as you should recall from the movie they took him home to the family farm to bury him. Just a point of info. Thanks again.

History is just around the corner. I posted a year ago about some of the
Old West characters still alive when my father was young. Geronimo died
the year dad was born.
Read a biography of Doc Holliday recently. He died from TB in the 1880s.
His girlfriend Big Nose Kate died in 1940, the year I was born.

History is just around the corner. When my dad was a kid plenty of the Old West characters were still alive:
Bat Masterson, Wyatt Earp, Frank James, Cole Younger, Mark Twain, Annie Oakley, and many more.
Wyatt's widow was still alive when I was a kid.
Tx 4 posting.
rockgor 2 years ago
really wow. how old are you
phaneuf91 2 years ago
Hi Phane
I am 68. Wyatt died in the 1920s and his widow
in 1944.
My grandfather was born when Lincoln was President and died 3 years before I was born. Three of grampa's kids are still alive.
They are my aunts and uncle and are in their 80s and 90s. So in 2 lifetimes you can go back to the time of
Lincoln.
When my grandad's grandad was alive, Washington
was President.
So you see, at least sometimes history is just around the corner.
rockgor 2 years ago
well sir i hope u live a long time to keep that history alive
