@mrlee192 Scott's voice didn't "change" accidentally. He purposely changes his voice. I read his memoir last month and in it he writes about how he learned to use his voice as an "instrument." In other words, he can sound like a plethora of different styles. Listen to some of his solo work and he sounds totally different on all of that, as well. Then, on STP's No.4, his vocals sound like Core-era on several tracks. Really talented vocalist.

This album is amazing. I mostly buy soul and electronica, but i thought this album was brilliant and is in my top 5. I see people making comments about this being soft and i sorta have to agree. That's partially why I can appreciate it. I have a few of their albums and this and no. 4 are a different sound than Core and Purple (which I bought after falling in love with Tiny Music.) It's softer but damn, Tiny Music was well conceived, enginereed and executed. It's good music. No. 4 not as much.
