I listen to death metal (Like that matters at all, but anyways) and from time to time I LOVE listening to Classical music because it soothes the mind, which is a major change then listening to the deep guttural growls and yells of death metal and genres alike.
I do not understand the people that say they do not like classical music, mozart especially! He was a genius, and I wish people would have treated him like one!
I love the comments about how kids these days only play videogames. Seems a bit odd that you wouldn't consider that most children in Mozart's time were probably pushing a hoop with a stick down a road while he was writing music. Nothing's really changed, only the technology. That said, I doubt anyone would even notice if someone like Mozart were born today, seeing as most music of our era is not characterized by musical ability but instead by stage performance.
@Bluecdtvhp Our society is no longer designed to nurture inborn talent. A young man (or woman) like Mozart today would be told to pursue a more practical career instead of risking everything to live the life of a starving artist.
@GermanOperaSinger As someone presently living the life of a starving artist, I can't tell you how profoundly this disgusts me.
Hamlet was quite right, when listing his reasons It might be better not to be, to include among them "the spurns that patient merit of the unworthy takes".
@LVOEme72 Even though Mozart had a epic talent I am sure you have one too, we all have :) Some of our are just more noticable at an early age than others xD
Mozart is the greatest composer of all. Beethoven created his music, but the music of Mozart is of such purity and beauty that one feels he merely found it — that it has always existed as part of the inner beauty of the universe waiting to be revealed
@Featherawr I think they're both brilliant, but Beethoven's is over-used in trivial things and is just more well-known, so I think we get a little sick of it. XD Haha.
how can you possibly make such a claim? mozart was pressured to write music, especially as a young boy. had he been born in a different time, he may not have learned music at all. it was circumstance and ceaseless training that made mozart what he was. you're in no position to say that he 'felt' more than anybody else simply because you enjoy the music he wrote.
How could you say that...although aware we are of the fact that he was forced to learn it...but no man could exert the amount of control and passion in his music if he was obliged to master it!!
One person hit the wrong button to dislike it :)

Some people want white females to mix with non-white males.
I made a one-minute video highlighting a very tiny sample of race-mixing advertisements.
I love white people, and I am opposed to race-mixing. But I do not hate non-whites.
If you click on my name “autumntree2011” highlighted in blue below this comment, you can watch my video.
