The final quality really all depends on how you edit the video keeping the frame rate the same, and export to 1280x720 as YouTube recommends. Any well reviewed recent HD camcorder should be able to compete with this - if not, they're doing something wrong somewhere! Oh, and I shoot progressive so there's no deinterlacing to worry about.
