According to Homeland Security, ordinary citizens like myself are considered terrorists because we believe that abortion is murder. This is NOT the country that my grandfather came to from England in search of a better life. He would be appalled if he were living. Political correctness takes precedence over personal freedoms. I love the idea of America and realize that some things are indeed worth dying for.
Please...now you are really slipping off into the delusional. Clearly you have a great animus for the United States which has severely limited and injured your ability to view history with any degree of objectivity. 'nuff said.
Obviously not theocracy LLORT3. Never intended to be. Just based on faith and moral principle, which is what sustains it for all. Your freedoms are not threatened by fundamental moral principle, they are preserved by it. The founders clearly stated that those principles that they based it on came from God, the Creator. But they did not force that religion on anyone.
Do you know or understand history? Not all of them were slave holders. Many of them felt it was wrong. They debated this hotly and ultimately created a declaration and constitution that planted the seeds for its end, while allowing for the Constitution and Bill of Rights to be created at the time, which would not have been done had they tried to force the issue then. But about 80 years later it ended when a lot of American blood was shed to end it, an preserve the constitution and union.
Bottom line is exactly what I indicated...there were those who were not slave holders, and they planted the seeds for the constitutiona and union to hold 80 years later when it ended. Without them, none of that would have happened and it's likely we would not be free to have this conversation today. Think about that before you denigrate those who laid the foundation for the freedoms you take for granted, 'nuff said. No need to go further for me, others can read and judge for themselves.
Oh, I see...you know our own history better than we do. You know better than what we can read in our own forefather's journals, and history written at the time and the facts that bear them out. Yea, that's the ticket. Rubbish and rot. What has been told you here is the truth...you can keep living in the fantasy of your own creation if you want to, but that has no bearing on the facts of history..
no but your domestic history books have been teaching a politically correct version of USA history.
for instance, many books don't teach that many of the founding fathers were slaveholders and atheists, and that the new immigrants committed genocide against americans.
As has been explained to you, there were many who weren't slave holders and all of them put in place a government with the seeds of abolishing it...the truth that all men are endowed by their Creator with a right to life, liberty, & the pursuit of happiness. This is simple fact, & history bears it out.
As to the Indian wars, particularly in the East, they were viscous & atrocious on both sides & lasted over 150 years well the into the 1800s. All of which is amply taught in our schools .
The founders would say to us today, "Restore the Constritution we gave you, and return to the principles upon which it was established." Google "Restore the Constitution IAM-CR"

what animus do i have for USA? just its policies not the country
let's not forget, the country was founded by terrorists per the govt they fought against.
this is why it is wise to question govt, question authority and question your history texts.

@jefflhead
your moral relativism and cowardice in the face of tyranny is pretty pathetic
LLORT3 2 years ago
No relativism involed in the least LLORT3. Have just stated the facts of history. There is nothing relative about that, it is what happened.

@jefflhead
bottom line is that USA was created by slaveholders
think about that before holding them up as heroes

your schools in USA paint a distorted view of history
your founding fathers were slaveholders and were genocidal against americans
